Our work spans new builds, complex platform migrations, and ongoing optimisation for established merchants.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-weight: bold\">About the Role</span></p>\n<p>You'll work within a cross-functional team of developers, designers, analysts and project managers to deliver high-quality Shopify Plus storefronts. Your focus is hands-on frontend development: building and refining themes, implementing custom sections, and solving the technical problems that come with ambitious ecommerce projects.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Day to day, you'll:</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Build, test and deploy custom Shopify themes and theme components to a high standard</li>\n<li>Write clean, maintainable Liquid templates using Online Store 2.0 architecture</li>\n<li>Implement responsive, accessible and performant frontend solutions using HTML, CSS and JavaScript</li>\n<li>Work with project managers to estimate effort, flag technical risk and define scope</li>\n<li>Participate in code reviews, giving and receiving constructive feedback</li>\n<li>Pair with teammates to solve problems and share knowledge</li>\n<li>Contribute to improving our development processes and standards<br><br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-weight: bold\">About You</span></p>\n<p>You're a frontend developer with solid commercial Shopify experience who wants to do their best work inside a collaborative team. You care about code quality, you're comfortable asking questions, and you take ownership of your work from ticket to deployment.<br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-weight: bold\">Required</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>2+ years of commercial frontend development experience</li>\n<li>1-2+ years delivering Shopify or Shopify Plus projects (theme builds, customisations or migrations)</li>\n<li>Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS and JavaScript (ES6+), including responsive design and cross-browser compatibility</li>\n<li>Solid working knowledge of Shopify Online Store 2.0, Liquid templating and the Shopify CLI toolchain</li>\n<li>Comfortable with Git version control and branch-based workflows</li>\n<li>Clear written and verbal communication, including confidence working directly with non-technical colleagues and clients</li>\n<li>A genuine interest in improving your craft and staying current with the Shopify platform<br><br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-weight: bold\">Nice to Have</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience with Agile/Scrum delivery environments</li>\n<li>Familiarity with build tools such as Vite, Rollup, esbuild or GitHub Actions</li>\n<li>Experience with Alpine.js for interactive theme components</li>\n<li>Familiarity with Tailwind CSS</li>\n<li>Exposure to React or modern JS frameworks</li>\n<li>Experience with accessibility standards (WCAG) and performance optimisation</li>\n<li>Awareness of headless commerce patterns or Hydrogen/Remix<br><br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-weight: bold\">Benefits</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Competitive salary depending on experience</li>\n<li>New laptop provided</li>\n<li>30 days holiday per year (inclusive of bank holidays), plus 1 additional day per full year served, capped at 5</li>\n<li>Flexible working hours</li>\n<li>Hybrid working with 1-2 days per week in our Exeter office<br></li>\n<li>Investment in your professional development and growth</li>\n<li>Regular company socials and events</li>\n</ul>",
