At Arnold we have assembled the most comprehensive machinery support team in the western United States. There is nothing in our inventory as valuable as the associates who carry our reputation into the marketplace. With the training we provide, the Field Service Technician helps Arnold to keep that standing. </strong></p>\n\n<p><strong>Essential Job Functions</strong></p>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>Good driving record (Field Service)</li>\n\t<li>Good English communication skills.\n\t<ul>\n\t\t<li>Verbal Both internal and External Customers Who, What, When, Where</li>\n\t\t<li>Written Customer, Dispatcher, Peers, Supervisor.</li>\n\t</ul>\n\t</li>\n\t<li>Good working knowledge of the internal combustion engine.</li>\n\t<li>Capable of reading a wiring/schematic diagram and service manual</li>\n\t<li>Drives to customer locations to repair forklifts and other material handling equipment. (Field Service)</li>\n\t<li>Conducts periodic maintenance services for the customer.</li>\n\t<li>Examines forklift, and other material handling equipment, assessing the repair situation at hand, considering your skill level, safety and the hazards of the job will you require additional help.</li>\n\t<li>Capable of using a multi meter and laptop computer.</li>\n\t<li>Willing to continue education offered by Arnold Machinery and Vendor.</li>\n\t<li>Must have your own tools.</li>\n\t<li>Must show up for work at the scheduled time</li>\n\t<li>Adhere to Arnold Machinery Companys core values: Integrity, Discipline, Empathy</li>\n\t<li>Thanks customer for their business to include asking them if they are happy with the service received.</li>\n</ul>\n\n<p><strong>Non-essential Job Functions</strong></p>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>Assist the Service Manager with various tasks</li>\n\t<li>Maintain a clean workspace and/or truck</li>\n</ul>\n\n<p><strong>Physical Demands and Working Conditions: </strong></p>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>Walking and moving about on foot often through uneven terrain</li>\n\t<li>Lifting over 50 lbs. frequently</li>\n\t<li>Hands/arms operating equipment, hand and power tools</li>\n\t<li>Seizes, helps or works with hands</li>\n\t<li>Raises or lowers miscellaneous equipment parts and tools</li>\n\t<li>Extends hands and arms in any direction</li>\n\t<li>Bends body downward and forward by bending at knees or waist</li>\n\t<li>Remains in standing position if required for certain repair or maintenance work</li>\n\t<li>Climbing in and out of equipment</li>\n\t<li>Read work tickets, parts and service books and operate heavy equipment</li>\n\t<li>Communications by radio, phone and in person</li>\n\t<li>Hears well enough to discern mechanical problems for safety in and around shop and construction sites and to receive communication by radio, phone and in person</li>\n\t<li>Sits in equipment and vehicles</li>\n\t<li>Lies in prone position under vehicles and equipment</li>\n</ul>",
