This role is ideal for a technically strong engineer who enjoys solving complex challenges, mentoring others, and working directly with clients to deliver impactful results.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The successful candidate will bring deep expertise in areas such as grounding, insulation coordination, electromagnetic transients, and power quality. You will work in a fast-paced, client-focused environment and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support utility clients across North America.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>What You'll Do</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Lead technical studies involving grounding, insulation coordination, AC interference, and transient simulations.</li>\n <li>Perform detailed modeling and analysis using tools such as PSCAD, ATP-EMTP, CDEGS, and WinIGS.</li>\n <li>Translate complex technical findings into actionable insights for clients.</li>\n <li>Support proposal development, project scoping, and client relationship management.</li>\n <li>Mentor junior engineers and contribute to internal knowledge sharing.</li>\n <li>Collaborate with protection, planning, and field engineering teams to integrate study results.</li>\n <li>Ensure all work meets high standards of quality, compliance, and industry best practices.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Required:</p>\n<p><strong>Travel</strong></p>\n<p>The ideal candidate is willing and able to travel to client locations and industry meetings as necessary.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Working Conditions</p>\n<p>Working conditions are typical of a professional office environment. When working in field or laboratory settings, the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and completion of additional safety training may be required. The role may involve lifting and carrying equipment, standing for extended periods, and working in varying weather conditions.
