This includes ensuring that medical, dental, and mental health program activities are aligned with company policies and procedures, and compliant with ACA, NCCHC and State accreditation standards. The HSA will provide leadership and administrative supervision to the healthcare operations at the facility.</p>\n<h2><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></h2>\n<p>• Monitor, evaluate and improve the implementation and effectiveness of procedures and programs, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.• Oversee recruitment, orientation, and performance evaluations of employees, contractors and professional staff, as well as staff education and development programs.• Ensure appropriate licensure, credentialing, and insurance coverage on all medical personnel, and maintain confidentiality and security of health records and medical information.• Monitor and audit referrals, pharmacy use, inpatient hospitalizations, and potential catastrophic illnesses, and explore utilizing appropriate means of limiting both company and contractor liabilities.• Promote Quality Improvement standards, attend seminars and conferences, and function as a liaison between other professional organizations, while accepting on-call status.</p>\n<h2><strong>Additional Details</strong></h2>Ideal candidates will be located in one of the following states: NC, SC, TN, IN, KY\n<h2><strong>Qualifications & Requirements</strong></h2>\n<p>Education</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, Health Administration, Business Administration, or health related field preferred.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Experience</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Delivery and administration of correctional medical, dental, and mental health care recommended.</li>\n <li>Three years administrative, management and supervisory experience.</li>\n <li>Sound decision-making skills are mandatory.</li>\n <li>Organizational experience in operations and planning required.</li>\n <li>Experience in Managing budgets and analyzing contracts preferred.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Licenses/Certifications</p>\n<ul>\n <li>CPR certification.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2><strong>We are an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer</strong></h2>\n<p>We are committed to fostering, cultivating, and preserving a culture of uniqueness.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>We celebrate a variety of backgrounds and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>We encourage you to apply!</strong> If you are excited about a role but your experience doesn’t seem to align perfectly with every element of the job description, we encourage you to apply.
