    "description": "<p><em><span>Our Med Surg Department is looking for a RN to join their fantastic team!</span></em></p>\n<p><em><br></em></p>\n<p><em><span>$10,000 sign on bonus available!</span></em></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><em>Schedule: 36 hours per week! </em></p>\n<p><em>Specific Hours: 7p-7A <br>Every Third weekend &amp; Rotating Holidays </em></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Position Summary:</span></p>\n<p>The RN coordinates patient care with multidisciplinary team members to facilitate health promotion and continuity of care in a cost-efficient manner.  Provides direct nursing care to individuals patients and assists patient family as directed by the nursing and medical plan of care utilizing the nursing process and according to the standards and guidelines established by professional nursing organizations.  The RN communicates with the patient, family, and multidisciplinary team members to provide up-to-date information, promotes effective coping behaviors, and evaluates the patient's response to implemented care.  Patient populations cared for include, newborn, infant, child, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Education and Training Required:</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Graduate from an accredited school of nursing, BSN preferred.</li>\n<li>Current RN licensure in the state of Wisconsin.</li>\n<li>BLS certified, PALS and ACLS within one year of hire.</li>\n<li>Advanced Certification preferred.</li>\n<li><span>Meets health requirements.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Physical Requirements:</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Frequent standing and walking.<br></li>\n<li>Frequent lifting, pushing and pulling up to 10 pounds.</li>\n<li>Occasionally lifting, pushing and pulling up to 50 pounds when moving equipment or providing patient care. </li>\n<li>Occasionally bend to the floor, squat, kneel, crouch and reach overhead to assist with patient care or retrieve equipment or supplies.</li>\n<li>Frequent reaching in front of body while assisting patients and using equipment.</li>\n<li>Fine motor skills needed to operate equipment, such as monitors and computers and to provide patient care, such as starting IV's.<br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Sight:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<ul>\n<li>Occasionally use sight capacities, including spatial, peripheral, colors, accommodation and depth perception.</li>\n<li>Frequently use near and far vision while reviewing patient records, computer screens, charts, hemoccult results, gauges on patient equipment, monitors, etc.</li>\n<li>Occasional adaptation from computer to patient care.</li>\n<li>Cognition/Communication:</li>\n<li>Frequently utilizes simple reading skills, normal conversations.</li>\n<li>Frequently is exposed to low volume speech with patients and telephone conversations with other members of the healthcare team, physicians, and family members.</li>\n<li>Occasional complex reading, writing and math skills to acquire communicate and use knowledge and skills necessary to provide quality patient care.</li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Environmental Conditions:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<ul>\n<li>Continual exposure to an inside, patient environment with occasional unpleasant odors or noises.</li>\n<li>Occasional exposure to low light or glare conditions.</li>\n<li>Potential Hazards:</li>\n<li>Occasional exposure to low light or glare conditions.</li>\n<li>Occasional exposure to infectious blood/body fluids and diseases requiring infection control practices, red infectious waste.</li>\n<li>Occasional exposure to needles/syringes/sharps during medication administration, assistance with treatments, invasive procedures.</li>\n<li>Psychological, Situational, Functional Factors:</li>\n<li>Continuous need to work closely with others, including staff, patients and visitors.</li>\n<li>Ability to work alone in stressful situations.</li>\n<li>Frequent problem solving, analyzing, use of judgment and critical thinking in regard to lab values, changes of patient condition, environmental factors, flexibility.</li>\n<li>Occasionally able to rotate shifts, work overtime, be on call.</li>\n<li>Continuously plan and direct patient care, manage conflict or difficult situations</li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold; text-decoration: underline\">Benefits: </span></p>\n<p>RAMC offers an extensive benefits package to meet the needs of our employees and families.</p>\n<p>We are committed to fostering a supportive and balanced work environment that encourages professional growth and personal well-being.
