    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><div><div><div><p id=\"isPasted\"><strong>Position Overview:</strong></p><p>The Research Analyst (RA) will analyze all-source intelligence addressing a broad range of issues, focusing on insurgent capabilities and actions, political and cultural climates, tribal and social networks, and other issues as required.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Responsibilities:&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>Monitor and analyze threat intelligence, reviewing information for credibility, urgency, and specific target information.</li><li>Produce concise written and oral intelligence reports for use by embassy management and DS personnel.</li><li>Prepare daily written and oral intelligence summary reports for applicable personal protection, guard force, and emergency response team services.</li><li>Prepare assessments and spot reports.</li><li>Brief appropriate DS personnel on security matters pertaining to the operating environment on a daily or weekly basis.</li><li>Notify/communicate urgent threat information to the appropriate DS personnel.</li><li>Perform liaison work with U.S. officials and military units on site, and with DS counterparts daily.</li><li>Maintain a situational map of incidents and a database of known threats, events, and indications of enemy intent.</li><li>Develop and use an indication and warning matrix to illustrate possible enemy intent and prepare reports that support these conclusions.</li></ul><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>Required Qualifications:</strong></p><p>All candidates must:</p><ul><li>Be at least 21 years of age.</li><li>Be a U.S. citizen.&nbsp;</li><li>Be able to speak, read, write, and understand the English language.&nbsp;</li><li>Be able to pass the medical and physical requirements outlined in the contract.&nbsp;</li><li>Meet all standards as required by the contract.&nbsp;</li><li>Have a clean driving record with a valid driver&rsquo;s license.</li><li>Obtain and hold a Top Secret Security Clearance (current, active clearance preferred).&nbsp;</li><li>Must possess a minimum of two (2) years of all-source intelligence analytical experience.</li><li>Must possess a minimum of one (1) year overseas experience performing as an intelligence analyst.</li><li>Must have completed a formal military intelligence training course or have equivalent training through classified online courses and work experience demonstrating the use and function of the U.S. Intelligence Cycle.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p>All candidates will be required to complete a pre-employment medical and physical examination, drug screen, and psychological examination. Additionally, all candidates will be required to complete a paid pre-deployment training course.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>Work Environment and Location:</strong></p><p>The position is located in Baghdad, Iraq. Furnished housing will be provided. Travel to and from the Work Location will be provided.&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Employees may be exposed to extreme cold or hot weather conditions, fumes, or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and loud noise.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Physical Demands:</strong></p><p>The physical demands listed below, though not fully inclusive, are that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. The employee is frequently required to move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc. The employee is occasionally required to stand; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
