    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<b>Job Summary</b><br><br>The Clinical Informaticist supports the integration, optimization, and maintenance of clinical information systems at the facility level. This role works closely with clinical staff, IT teams, and facility leadership to enhance workflows, documentation, and patient care quality. Additionally, the Clinical Informaticist is responsible for training clinical staff on the effective use of these systems, ensuring they are well-equipped to utilize the technology in their daily operations. Acting as a bridge between clinical operations and technology teams, the Clinical Informaticist promotes the effective use of clinical software systems that align with regulatory standards and organizational goals.<br><br><b>Essential Functions</b><ul><li>Collaborates with facility clinical teams to implement, configure, and optimize clinical information systems, ensuring alignment with facility protocols and patient care standards.</li>\n<li>Analyzes facility-specific workflows and clinical processes, identifying opportunities for system improvements and alignment with best practices.</li>\n<li>Provides training, support, and guidance to facility-based clinical staff on system utilization, ensuring effective adoption and compliance with clinical documentation standards.</li>\n<li>Troubleshoots and resolves facility-related issues with clinical software applications, working closely with IT and vendor support teams to maintain seamless system operations.</li>\n<li>Monitors system performance and gathers user feedback to recommend facility-specific enhancements or changes to improve functionality and user experience.</li>\n<li>Participates in system testing, software upgrades, and implementation of new features, ensuring compliance with facility-specific regulations and quality standards.</li>\n<li>Ensures that clinical systems comply with privacy, security, and regulatory requirements, including HIPAA and other facility-specific standards.</li>\n<li>Engages with interdisciplinary facility teams to support clinical informatics strategies that enhance care delivery and align with facility objectives.</li><li>Performs other duties as assigned.</li>\n<li>Maintains regular and reliable attendance.</li>\n<li>Complies with all policies and standards.</li></ul><b>Qualifications</b><ul><li>Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Health Informatics, Information Technology, or a related field required </li>\n<li> A combination of education and related experience may be considered in lieu of a degree  </li>\n<li>Master's Degree in Health Informatics preferred </li><li>2-4 years of experience in clinical informatics, healthcare IT, or clinical practice with exposure to informatics, preferably at the facility level required </li></ul><b>Knowledge, Skills and Abilities</b><ul><li>Strong understanding of facility-based clinical workflows, healthcare operations, and informatics principles.</li>\n<li>Proficiency in clinical information systems, electronic health records (EHRs), and healthcare software solutions.</li>\n<li>Excellent communication skills for collaboration with facility staff, IT teams, and other stakeholders.</li>\n<li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for assessing system performance and implementing facility-specific improvements.</li>\n<li>Understanding of clinical processes and medical terminology.</li>\n<li>Ability to train and develop clinical staff on the use of health information systems.</li></ul><b>Licenses and Certifications</b><ul><li> Certification in health informatics (e.g., CPHIMS, RHIA, or related) preferred  </li>\n<li> Active clinical licensure (e.g., RN, RT, or related) preferred  </li></ul>\n",
