    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>We are seeking an experienced Integrations Principal to lead the design, development, and implementation of advanced integration solutions in healthcare technology. This role requires deep expertise in clinical data interoperability, system integrations, and connecting disparate platforms to support seamless data exchange.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>As the Integrations Principal, you will provide technical leadership, mentorship, and strategic guidance to multiple teams, driving successful integration projects that enhance patient care and improve operational efficiency. The ideal candidate brings proven experience in healthcare integrations, strong problem-solving skills, and a passion for building scalable, innovative solutions in a collaborative environment.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Integration strategy and roadmap:</strong> Collaborate on the development of and execute the interoperability strategy to ensure seamless, scalable integration across internal and external systems. </li>\n <li><strong>Health Information Exchanges (HIEs):</strong> Oversee technical implementation and maintenance of national and state HIEs to facilitate secure, efficient data exchange among providers, payers, and partners. </li>\n <li><strong>Electronic Health Record (EHR) Integrations:</strong> Guide and support the development of EHR integrations. Research future EHR integrations to expand services, collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand integration requirements and provide technical expertise.  </li>\n <li><strong>Clinical Data Management and Stewardship:</strong> Ensure the accurate, complete and secure handling of patients’ clinical data throughout ingestion, transformation, exchange, and storage. </li>\n <li><strong>System Architecture:</strong> Partner with architects to design and maintain the architecture for integration solutions, ensuring scalability, reliability, and compliance with industry standards and regulations. Continuously monitor and optimize data processing workflows to improve performance and reduce latency. </li>\n <li><strong>Data Compliance, Governance and Security:</strong> Ensure all integration solutions comply with relevant regulations (e.g., HIPAA, HL7, FHIR) and maintain the highest standards of data integrity, security and privacy at the industry and organizational level. Help guide implementation of best practices for access control, encryption, auditing, and incident response across integration and data platforms. </li>\n <li><strong>Project Leadership:</strong> Lead cross-functional planning, execution, and delivery of integration projects, aligning scope, timelines, and outcomes to business goals.  </li>\n <li><strong>Stakeholder Engagement:</strong> Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including healthcare providers, IT departments, and vendors, to understand integration needs and deliver effective solutions. Support on- and off-shore team members as a SME, when applicable. </li>\n <li><strong>Mentorship:</strong> Provide technical leadership and mentorship, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement. </li>\n <li><strong>Continuous Improvement:</strong> Track industry trends and emerging technologies; evaluate and adopt tools and methods that advance interoperability and data capabilities. </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Education:</strong> Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Healthcare Informatics, or a related field. </li>\n <li><strong>Experience:</strong> Minimum of 7 years of experience in healthcare IT with a focus on systems integration, interoperability, HIEs, and clinical data management, data integration, and architecture.   </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Technical Skills</strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Healthcare data standards and payload transports: e.g. HL7, FHIR, CDA, USCDI, REST, SOAP</li>\n <li>Integration platforms: e.g. Mirth, Cloverleaf and/or native EHR integrations e.g. Epic, Oracle, Meditech </li>\n <li>Programming languages: e.g. Python, Java, Scala, C# </li>\n <li>Big data technologies: e.g. Hadoop, Spark, Kafka. </li>\n <li>Databases: relational and NoSQL e.g., SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MongoDB </li>\n <li>Cloud and containerization platforms: e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP, Docker, Kubernetes  </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Governance and Compliance </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Familiarity with data governance frameworks and compliance requirements e.g., HIPAA, GDPR. </li>\n <li>Familiarity with interoperability frameworks e.g. TEFCA, Carequality, Commonwell   </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Leadership and Communication </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Demonstrated ability to direct complex projects involving multiple stakeholders and team members. </li>\n <li>Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. </li>\n <li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. </li>\n <li>Collaborative mindset and a passion for driving innovation in healthcare. </li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong><em>Total Compensation</em></strong><em>Base pay is one element of the total compensation package. Eligible employees may also receive an annual cash bonus and have access to a comprehensive benefits offering, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and a 401(k) plan.</em></p>\n<p><strong><em>Salary Range</em></strong><em> It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range.
