    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">We are seeking an experienced <strong>Development Manager</strong> to lead the design, development, and integration of <strong>AI/ML-driven solutions</strong> into <strong>FortiAnalyzer</strong>, enhancing its security analytics and automation capabilities. This role requires a strong background in <strong>AI/ML model development, security data analysis, and software engineering</strong>, as well as leadership experience in managing development teams.</p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Lead the development and integration of <strong>AI/ML-powered features</strong> into <strong>FortiAnalyzer</strong>, focusing on security analytics, anomaly detection, and automated threat response.</li>\n <li>Manage and mentor a team of <strong>software developers and data scientists</strong>, ensuring the successful delivery of AI/ML solutions.</li>\n <li>Oversee the <strong>entire AI/ML pipeline</strong>, including data collection, preprocessing, model training, deployment, and performance optimization.</li>\n <li>Collaborate with <strong>security experts, product managers, and cross-functional engineering teams</strong> to align AI/ML initiatives with business and product goals.</li>\n <li>Ensure the <strong>scalability, reliability, and security</strong> of AI/ML solutions in a production environment.</li>\n <li>Stay up to date with <strong>AI/ML advancements, security threats, SIEM/SOAR trends</strong>, and industry best practices to drive innovation.</li>\n</ul>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Basic Requirements</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s or higher degree in <strong>Computer Science, AI/ML, Data Science, or a related field</strong>.</li>\n <li><strong>Hands-on experience</strong> in <strong>AI/ML model development, training, and deployment</strong> for real-world applications.</li>\n <li>Strong background in <strong>data science or data engineering</strong>, including data processing, feature engineering, and model optimization.</li>\n <li>Proficiency in <strong>Python, scikit-learn, TensorFlow/PyTorch, and data processing frameworks</strong>.</li>\n <li>Work experience in <strong>security data analysis, SIEM (Security Information and Event Management), or SOAR (Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response)</strong>.</li>\n <li>Proven experience <strong>leading and managing a development team</strong> to deliver <strong>AI/ML solutions integrated into a product</strong>.</li>\n</ul>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Bonus Skills</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Experience with <strong>C/C++, GO, Java or Scala</strong> for performance-critical applications.</li>\n <li>Experience working with <strong>log analytics, cybersecurity, and Fortinet security solutions</strong>.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of database, data warehouse and data lakehouse.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of <strong>big data processing frameworks</strong> such as Apache Spark, Hadoop.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>The Canada base salary range for this full-time position is expected to be between $110,000 - $150,000 annually. &nbsp;Wage ranges are based on various factors including the labour market, job type, and job level. &nbsp;Exact salary offers will be determined by factors such as the candidate’s subject knowledge, skill level, qualifications, and experience.</p>\n<p>Fortinet strives to provide you and your family with a comprehensive benefits package.
