You’ll work closely with<span> </span><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Superintendents, project teams, subcontractors, and the Safety Operations Manager</span><span> </span>to ensure safety standards are followed — while maintaining a positive, team-first approach.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">This is a<span> </span><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">fast-paced, hands-on field role</span><span> </span>where no two days are the same. You’ll spend your time interacting with people, identifying hazards, leading safety discussions, and helping crews solve problems before incidents occur.<br><br></span><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">What You’ll Do </span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Serve as the primary onsite safety resource, supporting crews and leadership.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Conduct weekly safety inspections, document findings, and submit reports.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Continuously monitor jobsite safety practices and address unsafe conditions immediately.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Enforce OSHA regulations, customer safety programs, and company safety policies.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Lead Toolbox Talks, Stretch &amp; Flex sessions, and daily JSA meetings in an engaging, interactive way — not lectures.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Communicate safety expectations clearly and respectfully in both English and Spanish.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Collaborate with Superintendents and Safety leadership to implement corrective actions.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Ensure proper use of PPE by employees and subcontractors.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Report injuries, incidents, equipment damage, or thefts within required timeframes.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Assist with scheduling safety training and maintaining compliance records.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Stock and maintain safety supplies while upholding professional jobsite appearance.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Attend required meetings and training sessions and contribute ideas to improve safety culture.<br><br></span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">What We’re Looking For</span></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">The ideal candidate is someone who:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Fully bilingual (English and Spanish) is preferred, but the ability to confidently communicate in multiple languages in the field is required.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Be able and willing to travel regularly between jobsites. </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Be flexible with work hours and based on job and project needs. </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Builds trust and rapport with diverse crews and personalities. </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Understands construction environments and jobsite realities. </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Has experience in safety coordination, construction safety, or a related field. </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Is knowledgeable in OSHA standards and general construction safety practices. </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Can manage multiple tasks while staying organized and detail oriented. </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Leads with a help-first mindset, not an enforcement-only approach.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Maintains professionalism in a fast-moving, hands-on environment.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Are comfortable documenting findings and using basic technology (Word, Excel, Outlook).<br><br></span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Safety certifications, administrative experience, and prior field leadership are a plus.</span></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Physical &amp; Field Requirements</span></span></p>\n<p>This is an active, field-based position that requires being present on construction jobsites for most of the day. The Onsite Safety Coordinator must be comfortable working in outdoor environments and physically navigating active construction areas. This role regularly requires:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Walking and standing for extended periods throughout the workday</li>\n<li>Moving between different areas of large, active jobsites</li>\n<li>Climbing stairs, ladders, scaffolding, and navigating uneven terrain</li>\n<li>Bending, kneeling, crouching, and reaching as needed to inspect work areas</li>\n<li>Working in varying weather conditions including heat, cold, wind, and rain</li>\n<li>Wearing required PPE at all times (hard hat, safety vest, safety glasses, work boots, etc.)</li>\n<li>Lifting and carrying safety materials or equipment (up to 40 lbs. as needed)</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>This role is best suited for someone who enjoys being active, visible in the field, and engaged directly with crews throughout the day.</p>",
