Responsible for the completion of all laboratory test results, including quality reporting to achieve assigned deadlines. Will also be responsible for cross training and assisting with supervising of laboratory technicians. Other responsibilities include:&nbsp;</span></p><ul><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; text-align: justify;\">Contact Supervisor and professional staff for priorities, deadlines, and special work assignments.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; text-align: justify;\">Coordinate individual assignments for laboratory technicians.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; text-align: justify;\">Review laboratory procedures and verify accuracy and completeness of laboratory results.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; text-align: justify;\">Perform routine and specialized testing of construction materials.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; text-align: justify;\">Evaluate test data.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; text-align: justify;\">Report data under the Supervisor&rsquo;s guidance.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; text-align: justify;\">Set up new projects.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; text-align: justify;\">Write draft reports for review by Supervisor and professional staff.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; text-align: justify;\">Invoice laboratory-testing services.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; text-align: justify;\">Provide training and instructional guidance to laboratory technicians.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; text-align: justify;\">Check time records of technicians daily for accuracy.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; text-align: justify;\">Inform Supervisor of workload, overtime requirements and status of current and future projects.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; text-align: justify;\">Provide daily oversight and direction to lab technicians and conduct performance reviews as assigned.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; text-align: justify;\">Assist Supervisor and professional staff with special assignments.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; text-align: justify;\">Perform maintenance of laboratory inspection equipment as well as the calibration and proper documentation of all applicable equipment.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; text-align: justify;\">Assist in maintenance of special equipment.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; text-align: justify;\">Maintain an adequate stock of routine supplies and materials.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; text-align: justify;\">Assign general housekeeping duties including trash removal, sweeping floors, dusting, cleaning windows, and storage, and disposal of test samples.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; text-align: justify;\">Assist with preparation and execution of external and internal audits.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; text-align: justify;\">Perform other duties as assigned.<strong>&nbsp;</strong></li></ul><p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\"><strong>Qualifications</strong></span></p><ul><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; text-align: justify;\">High School Diploma, G.E.D., or High School Equivalency certificate required.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; text-align: justify;\">Minimum of three&nbsp;(3) years&rsquo; experience with designated area of laboratory testing OR Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in engineering or science and two (2) years&rsquo; experience.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; text-align: justify;\">Must possess applicable ACI and/or TxDOT certifications dependent on the specific laboratory discipline.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; text-align: justify;\">Must be NICET Level II or higher or a combination of ACI Aggregates, strength and field, or obtain within six&nbsp;(6) months from date of employment.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; text-align: justify;\">Possess a valid driver&rsquo;s license within the applicable jurisdiction and meet company&rsquo;s auto insurability requirements.&nbsp;</li></ul><p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">Capable of drafting technical reports and proposals. Recording skills to report test data. Communication skills for meeting with clients and handling incoming calls concerning test data.
