This may include receiving, entering, processing, preparing, packaging, and delivery of medication, supplies, and equipment. Responsible for procurement, inventory, and restocking of supplies and medications. We even offer pet insurance for your four-legged family members.  </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Early access to earned wages with Daily Pay, tuition reimbursement to help further your career and adoption assistance to help you grow your family.   </li>\n</ul>\n<p>With a collective goal to champion a culture of belonging where everyone feels valued and respected, we honor the ways people are unique and embrace what brings us together.   </p>\n<p>And, we believe equipping you with support and development opportunities is a vital part of delivering an exceptional employment experience. </p>\n<p>Find a fulfilling career and make a difference with UnityPoint Health.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Under the direct supervision of the pharmacist; process medication and IV orders which may include reviewing orders, retrieving, packaging, labeling, compounding sterile and non-sterile elements, delivering and performing required documentation.</li>\n <li>Procurement of pharmaceuticals and supplies</li>\n <li>Coding of invoices.</li>\n <li>Restock drugs and supplies.</li>\n <li>Deliver medications to patient care areas and pick up orders and/or returned medications.</li>\n <li>Clean pharmacy drug and solution work and storage areas per assigned schedule.</li>\n <li>Check pharmacy drug and IV solution supplies for dates of expiration and remove outdated drugs and supplies according to policy and procedure.</li>\n <li>Answer the telephone, screen and route all incoming telephone calls to the appropriate person or take messages according to office policy and procedure.</li>\n <li>Greet clients providing courteous, caring and professional assistance.</li>\n <li>Perform monthly inventory of drugs.</li>\n <li>Check and document temperatures for fridges, freezers, incubators and take appropriate action if necessary.</li>\n <li>Complete and pass biannual Aseptic technique testing as outlined in P & P in a timely manner.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Education:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>High School or Vocational School graduate or an equivalent combination of education and experience.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Experience:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Experience in retail or clinical pharmacy setting. </li>\n <li>Read, speak and write fluent English and perform simple arithmetic computations. </li>\n <li>Ability to understand and apply guidelines, policies and procedures.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Licensure:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Registered as a pharmacy technician with Board of Pharmacy prior to commencement of work if already nationally certified (or registered as technician trainee if not yet certified) </li>\n <li>Valid licensed driver with automobile insurance in accordance with state and/or organizational requirements. </li>\n <li>Mandatory Reporter: Child & Dependent Adult Abuse.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>#UPaHomeNursing</p>",
