Primary Responsibilities
The overall focus is to support the brand team department in analytical and administrative areas. Main areas of focus are data retrieval and tracking of sales, margin and inventory for management and product maintenance. This position also interacts directly with Tree of Life Sales, Supply Chain, IT and Finance teams. As with all positions at Tree of Life Canada we expect that all actions will be consistent with Tree of Life Canada’s Mission, Vision and Values.
Essential Functions
Support and participate in food safety programs including SQF (Safe Quality Food)
Utilize internal systems and work with sales team to track points of distribution, sales and margin for specific brands managed vs. budgeted levels.
Liaison with sales & supply chain teams to monitor fill rate reports, out of stocks, compliance charges, reduction reports and fines.
Provide strategic forecasts, monitor stock levels, distribution points and sell through rates pre, post and during promotions. Recommend required corrections.
Work with brand managers & supply chain to ensure product availability and on time delivery.
Prepare and distribute all reports weekly and monthly for management assessment.
Create and maintain brand specific distribution reports.
Enter and track client specific monthly MCBs.
Work with brand manager to prepare and complete retail trade promotions, launch presentations, sell sheets and sample distribution in a timely fashion.
Maintain current Brand information on Intranet.
Assist in the preparation, and publication of price increase with proper supportive documentation.
Maintain Product data information on the SAP as it relates to new item setup, pricing, marketing and nutritional information, stewardship, attributes, allergens, ecology, trade deals, vendor deals and high-resolution photos.
Provide administrative support to the Director of Shared Service and Brand Management Team.
Approach all internal and external tasks, communication and transactions according to our Purpose and Core Values.
Maintain good attendance, safe work practices and maintain safeguards of confidential company information.
Other duties and special projects as requested.
Minimum Requirements, Qualifications, Additional Skills, Aptitude
University or College degree in business/marketing preferred.
Minimum of three (3) years in an administration role preferably with experience in data analysis.
Proficient in MS Office with high-level proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint. Knowledge of SAP and Cognos preferred.
Superior analytical skills and project management skills.
Strong communication skills (oral and written) and fluent in English with ability to speak effectively
Must be results-driven, resourceful and well organized with an ability to work on multiple projects and strict deadlines with minimal supervision.
Proactive, service oriented with a sense of urgency.
Ability to work well under pressure.
Proven interpersonal and decision making skills, ability to get along with diverse personalities and develop strong business relationships: tactful, mature and flexible. Must have good reasoning abilities and sound judgement.
High energy, very comfortable performing multifaceted projects in conjunction with day-to-day activities.
Must keep all personnel and department matters confidential.
The base compensation range for this role is $55,500 CAD - $72,000 CAD. Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual’s knowledge, skills and experience with consideration given to internal equity. Base pay is one part of a comprehensive Total Reward program which also includes flexible and supportive benefits and other wellbeing programs. This role may also be eligible for an Annual Bonus based on a combination of enterprise and individual performance.
