If you enjoy systems engineering with real‑world impact, this is a unique opportunity.</p>\n <p><b>What You’ll Do</b><br><b>Systems Architecture &amp; Design</b><br>\n   • Build secure, resilient system architectures for high‑consequence OT and control‑system environments.<br>\n   • Design solutions aligned with NIST 800‑82, NIST 800‑53/171, and ISA/IEC 62443.<br>\n   • Engineer systems supporting SCADA, PLC/DCS, building automation, power distribution, and other mission systems.<br>\n   • Define architectures for deterministic behavior, high availability, and fault tolerance.<br>\n   • Maintain configuration baselines, lifecycle documentation, and system design records.</p>\n <p><b>Systems Engineering, Deployment &amp; Operations</b><br>\n   • Deploy and manage Windows/Linux servers, virtualization platforms, storage, and clustered systems.<br>\n   • Integrate OT/ICS systems with authentication, monitoring, patching, and secure remote access services.<br>\n   • Support SCADA/HMI servers, historians, engineering workstations, and other OT workloads.<br>\n   • Ensure secure, reliable data flows between OT and enterprise/DMZ environments.<br>\n   • Develop inventories, diagrams, SOPs, and configuration documentation.</p>\n <p><b>OT Security &amp; DOE Compliance</b><br>\n   • Implement required NIST‑aligned security controls and DOE cybersecurity directives.<br>\n   • Support vulnerability management, patching, and secure system baselines.<br>\n   • Participate in cyber and operational readiness assessments.<br>\n   • Integrate systems with cybersecurity monitoring, logging, and detection platforms.<br>\n   • Support privileged access, vendor access, and secure identity workflows in OT spaces.</p>\n <p><b>Automation, Monitoring &amp; Sustainment</b><br>\n   • Create safe automation using PowerShell, Python, Ansible, or similar tools.<br>\n   • Deploy and maintain monitoring and observability platforms (Splunk, Elastic/Grafana, SolarWinds, Nozomi/Claroty).<br>\n   • Perform root‑cause analysis and support cyber or operational incident response.<br>\n   • Continuously improve system reliability and performance in mission‑critical contexts.</p>\n <p><b>What You Bring</b><br>\n   • 5–10+ years as a Systems Engineer or Architect, including 3+ years supporting OT/ICS or critical infrastructure.<br>\n   • Strong experience with Windows/Linux administration, virtualization (VMware, Hyper‑V, KVM), and storage systems.<br>\n   • Background with SCADA/ICS architectures, HMIs, engineering workstations, and historians.<br>\n   • Working knowledge of NIST cybersecurity frameworks.<br>\n   • Hands‑on experience with configuration management, patching, imaging, and lifecycle processes.<br>\n   • Experience supporting operational environments such as energy, nuclear, accelerator, national lab, or 24/7 mission systems.<br>\n   • Ability to collaborate seamlessly across engineering, cybersecurity, operations, and research groups.</p>\n <p><b>Preferred Qualifications</b><br>\n   • Certifications: CISSP, Security+, GICSP, Microsoft/Linux engineering certs, VMware VCP, Red Hat, ISA/IEC 62443.<br>\n   • Experience in secure or high‑hazard environments (nuclear, accelerator, etc.).<br>\n   • Familiarity with OT monitoring tools (Nozomi, Claroty, Dragos) and SIEM platforms.<br>\n   • Background designing resilient architectures for scientific or experimental workloads.<br>\n   • Experience with cyber assessments and configuration management processes.</p>\n <p><b>Work Environment</b><br>\n   • On‑site role supporting secure or mission‑critical operations.<br>\n   • Participation in an on‑call rotation may be required.<br>\n   • PPE may be required in certain facilities.<br>\n   • Travel across site facilities, plants, experimental areas, or secured zones.<br>\n   • Must be eligible for a Q clearance.</p>\n <p><b>How Success Will Be Measured</b><br>\n   • Increased reliability, security, and supportability of OT/ICS systems.<br>\n   • Alignment with NIST and DOE cybersecurity expectations.<br>\n   • Well‑maintained configuration baselines and lifecycle documentation.<br>\n   • Reduced downtime and improved monitoring, visibility, and response readiness.<br>\n   • Successful integration of systems across facility, operational, and mission programs.</p>\n <p style=\"margin-left:0in\"><span><i>In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire.</i></span></p>\n <p style=\"margin-left:0in\"><span><i>This position will require a pre­-employment background check and a pre-employment drug test.</i></span></p>\n <p style=\"margin-left:0in\"><span><i>Centrus Energy and all subsidiaries shall abide by the applicable legal requirements.
