POSITION SUMMARY:
The Prepper is responsible for using hand tools, including sanders, to buff, sand, and prepare fiberglass parts for painting and finishing. This role involves ensuring that finished goods are ready for shipping.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Prepare Materials : Get materials ready for production.
Buff and Sand : Use sanding tools to buff and sand fiberglass parts.
Work as a Team : Collaborate with your colleagues to meet goals and deadlines.
Inspect Parts : Check parts for any issues using rulers, and visual checks.
Repair Fiberglass Composite: Performs structural repairs to all fiberglass components
Use Tools : Operate and maintain tools like drills, sanders and polishers.
Follow Safety Rules : Stick to safety procedures and quality standards.
Stay Organized : Support Lean and 5S initiatives to keep the workplace efficient.
WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:
Composite & Fiberglass Experience (Preferred) – Experience working with composites, fiberglass, sanding, or grinding tools is a plus, but not required.
Hands On Skills – Comfortable using basic tools, with training provided for pneumatic, electric, and manual hand tools.
Attention to Detail – Takes pride in producing high quality parts by following instructions carefully.
Team Player – Works well with others to meet production goals and maintain a smooth workflow.
Reliable & Independent – Shows up on time, follows directions, and takes initiative when needed.
Physical Readiness – Able to stand for long periods and lift 20–50 lbs. as needed.
