With more than 100 employees, engineering offices in Oslo and Trondheim, sales offices in six countries, and a diverse global customer base, Zivid is shaping the future of robotics.</em></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">ABOUT THE ROLE</span></p>\n<p>The Zivid Motion product (<a href=\"https://www.zivid.com/zivid-motion\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">zivid.com/zivid-motion</a>) is a novel global motion planning solution relying heavily on GPU acceleration and algorithm optimization for performance. The motion planner combines a 3D model of the robot cell, point clouds from our cameras and the robot kinematics and geometry, to create safe and efficient collision-free paths. As a Software Engineer, you will work hands-on with industrial robotics automation, SW architecture, performance optimization, and user-experience challenges, in a team of 5-10 engineers, responsible for Zivid Motion. You will be delivering new features, supporting customer integration, testing new solutions, and shipping our technology to customers and industries all over the world.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">KEY RESPONSIBILITIES</span></p>\n<p>This position offers varied and challenging tasks across software, simulation, user experience, and deployment. Your tasks will include:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Design and improve our C++ code architecture.</li>\n<li>Enhance product user experience.</li>\n<li>Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, ensuring fast, reliable builds, automated testing, and smooth deployment workflows.</li>\n<li>Collaborate across disciplines to make the best combined robotics solution for the industry.</li>\n<li>Profile and optimize our core algorithms and performance.</li>\n<li>Write and maintain automated tests (unit, integration, and system-level) to ensure software correctness and reliability.</li>\n<li>Participate in code reviews and contribute to raising overall code quality and engineering standards in the team.</li>\n<li>Design and maintain our APIs.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR</span></p>\n<p>We are looking for someone who fits our team’s passion for problem solving and new technology, using their analytical skills with a solution-oriented attitude to deliver as a team.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>You should have experience developing robust, high-quality C++ solutions in a professional setting and M. Sc. or B.
