    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><div><div><p data-pasted=\"true\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">V3 Companies, a multidisciplinary AEC firm, is seeking a Water Assessment Specialist, where you will contribute to career-defining projects that reimagine our built and natural world.<strong>&nbsp;</strong>This full-time position is based in the IDOT District One office in Schaumburg, Illinois.</span></p><p><span style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">You&#39;ll change the shape of your community by finding new solutions for previously uninhabitable land, creating impact that lasts. And, as part of our Environmental team, you will collaborate with 450+ designers, engineers, and scientists to make meaningful, effective change across North America.</span></p><p><span style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\"><strong>Here&#39;s what you&#39;ll do: &nbsp;</strong></span></p><ul start=\"1\" type=\"1\"><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">Provides technical expertise and guidance to the District.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">Assures regulated substance documents conform to departmental guidelines, are compatible with engineering requirements, and consistent with state and federal law.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">Monitors regulated substances activities conducted by the District to assure that problems are adequately investigated and that the policy and procedures are uniformly applied.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">Directs the activities of consultants for regulated substance studies and approves their work.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">Evaluates the performance of project waste assessment consultants and for their qualifications in regulated substances.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">Stay current on state and federal waste regulations affecting District operations.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">Demonstrate knowledge of IEPA TACO and Maximum Allowable Concentrations (MACs) regulations.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">Experience in transportation PSIs/PESAs.</li></ul><p><span style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">The geologic &amp; waste assessment specialist prepares Special Provision documents for contract lettings based upon results of Phase II PSI results and reviews construction plans prior to letting to ensure that regulated substances issues have been addressed.</span></p><p><span style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\"><strong>We&#39;re looking for:</strong></span></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in Engineering (Environmental, Civil, Chemical preferred) or science-related field (Geology or Earth Science preferred).</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">12-15+ years of progressive experience in consulting, with a focus on project management.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">Proven leadership abilities with the capability to manage and inspire a team.
