    "description": "<h2>Position Summary</h2>\n<p></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Acuren is currently recruiting for NDT RT 2 Technician to support work in the Pacific Region specifically Prince George and area. If you are seeking a dynamic industrial environment with opportunities for individual growth and learning, this is for you.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Position can be up to 40 hrs./week and possible overtime</li>\n <li>Salary range $52.81/hr. to 57.36/hr. depending on certifications as per the QCCC Agreement</li>\n <li>Candidates are required to be local to Prince George and/or surrounding area</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Prepare and set up radiographic testing equipment, including X-ray or gamma ray sources, detectors, and imaging devices.</p></li>\n <li>Calibrate the equipment according to specific standards and procedures to ensure accurate and reliable results.</li>\n <li>Verify the setup to comply with safety regulations and industry standards.</li>\n <li>Perform radiographic inspections on various materials and components, such as welds, castings, and structural parts, to detect internal flaws, discontinuities, or defects.</li>\n <li>Analyze radiographic images to identify and assess the presence of any anomalies or defects, such as cracks, voids, inclusions, or misalignments.</li>\n <li>Document and report the findings, providing detailed descriptions of any defects found and their potential impact on the integrity of the tested object.</li>\n <li>Make recommendations for further action, such as repairs or re-testing, based on the evaluation of the radiographic images.</li>\n <li>Utilize written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills, and teamwork. </li>\n <li>Follow standards and procedures and monitor to ensure accuracy of results and meets quality and safety objectives and project time-lines.</li>\n <li>Ability to maintain positive working relationships with Clients. </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Requirements</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>CGSB RT Level 2 Certification</li>\n <li>CEDO Certification</li>\n <li>Additional certifications an asset</li>\n <li>Strong work ethics</li>\n <li>Ability to maintain positive working relations with clients</li>\n <li>Exceptional safety and quality awareness </li>\n <li>Ability to solve problems and manage time effectively</li>\n <li>Self-motivated and capable of working at a high technical and performance level</li>\n <li>Valid driver's license</li>\n <li>IRATA training or willingness to obtain is an asset</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Benefits</h2>\n<p>The strength of Acuren lies in its outstanding people.
