          "text": "<p>Our client and its subsidiaries requires the services of one individual to join its engineering and project management team. The individual will support the execution of projects throughout Newfoundland and Labrador.</p><p>&#xa0;</p><ul><li>Complete project scope statements;</li><li>Create and execute project work plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements;</li><li>Set up project work orders;</li><li>Develop realistic schedules in conjunction with the project team to complete projects;</li><li>Manage day-to-day operational aspects of projects and scopes of work;</li><li>Demonstrate leadership in Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) through continual improvement and active participation in corporate HSE processes;</li><li>Initiate and monitor all aspects of projects to ensure compliance with schedules and budgets;</li><li>Ensure project change requests are properly evaluated and authorized;</li><li>Ensure all approved changes are communicated to the project team and reflected in the active project budget and schedule;</li><li>Ensure that potential impacts of project changes from cost, schedule, safety and quality/reliability perspectives are identified and communicated to stakeholders in a timely manner;</li><li>Establish and manage project risk registers;</li><li>Identify and respond to issues, implement timely interventions or escalate as required to ensure project outcomes comply with project plans;</li><li>Ensure that terms of agreements or commitments are understood and fully respected;</li><li>Ensure that work packages are developed and leveraged by the project team;</li><li>Determine insurance requirements for projects in consultation with Hydro’s Risk and Insurance Division;</li><li>Establish the necessary level of site presence during project execution;</li><li>Manage the commissioning phase of the work;</li><li>Complete monthly capital reports and accruals;</li><li>Ensure continual improvement is nurtured through lessons learned sessions, supporting innovative approaches and communication to other project teams;</li><li>Communicate with Operations/End User Client on a regular basis.</li></ul><p>&#xa0;</p>",
