    "requisitionDescription": "<p data-pasted=\"true\">Cruz Associates Inc. of Yorktown, VA has an open position and is looking for qualified candidates for a <strong>Rigging Technician</strong>. The job location is at the <strong>McAlester Army Ammunition Plant, McAlester Oklahoma.</strong></p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Scope of Performance:</strong> Technician will help support coordinating and tracking load-testing activities for lifting equipment, rigging gear, and material handling systems. Technicians will work in all explosive and non-explosive areas as determined by management or COR. &nbsp;Technicians shall be subject to physical examinations and certification requirements.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Coordinate and track all load-testing activities for cranes, hoists, lifting devices, rigging equipment, and related systems.</li><li>Maintain load test schedules and ensure equipment certifications remain current.</li><li>Review load test results and verify compliance with regulatory and customer requirements.</li><li>Coordinate with third-party inspectors, testing agencies, and internal stakeholders to schedule and complete required testing.</li><li>Maintain accurate records of load tests, certifications, inspections, and corrective actions.</li><li>Generate reports and provide status updates on testing schedules, certifications, and equipment readiness.</li><li>Ensure documentation is readily available for audits, inspections, and customer reviews.</li><li>Identify upcoming certification expirations and proactively schedule testing to avoid operational disruptions.</li><li>Ensure all work complies with applicable safety standards, regulations, and quality requirements.</li><li>Collaborate with team members, supervisors, and customers to ensure project requirements, timelines, and expectations are met.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Education and Experience &ndash; Required:</strong></p><ul><li>Experience with rigging operations and load-testing requirements for cranes, hoists, lifting devices, or industrial equipment.</li><li>Knowledge of OSHA regulations, ASME standards, and industry best practices related to lifting and rigging equipment.</li><li>Proficiency with spreadsheets, databases, or maintenance management systems used to track inspections and certifications.</li><li>High School Diploma or equivalent</li><li>Ability to gain/maintain a Secret Clearance</li><li>Ability to pass Explosives Handler physical and Respirator Fit test</li><li>Ability to pass Ammo-18 Certification class</li><li>Sufficient knowledge of mathematics</li><li>Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 75lbs)</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p>\n",
