While White Plains, NY is a preferred location for this role, our team is open to candidates throughout the Northeast.&nbsp;</p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0in\">The primary focus of this role will be to provide technical and design consulting services on various projects with a focus on electrical power distribution, electrical controls, lighting, fire alarm, access control, and communications, to support projects for the Water Division.&nbsp;</p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0in\"><strong>Role accountabilities:</strong></p>\n<div style=\"border-width:0px;font-style:normal;font-weight:400;margin:1em 0px;padding:0px\">\n The Senior Electrical Engineer will support projects and clients in the planning, design, and construction of water/wastewater facilities and other similar industrial facilities, serving as Arcadis’ main point of contact with our clients for their electrical needs. &nbsp;Development of project management skills, including support in managing budgets and delivery schedules for each assignment; for project/task scope, schedule, and budget. &nbsp;Additional responsibilities include:\n</div>\n<ul>\n <li>\n  <div style=\"border-width:0px;font-style:normal;font-weight:400;margin:1em 0px;padding:0px\">\n   Establishing design criteria, performing design calculations, developing one-line diagrams, control schematics, plans, and specifications.\n  </div></li>\n <li>\n  <div style=\"border-width:0px;font-style:normal;font-weight:400;margin:1em 0px;padding:0px\">\n   Performing engineering services during construction, including reviewing equipment submittals, shop drawings, and responding to contractor RFI’s (request for information).\n  </div></li>\n <li>\n  <div style=\"border-width:0px;font-style:normal;font-weight:400;margin:1em 0px;padding:0px\">\n   Conducting field inspections, assisting with projects in construction, which includes identifying deviations from design, and monitoring safety compliance.\n  </div></li>\n</ul>\n<div style=\"border-width:0px;font-style:normal;font-weight:400;margin:1em 0px;padding:0px\">\n Some travel may be required to support project needs.\n</div>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0in\"><strong>Qualifications &amp; Experience:</strong></p>\n<div style=\"border-width:0px;font-style:normal;font-weight:400;margin:1em 0px;padding:0px\">\n <strong>Key Skills and Attributes:</strong>\n</div>\n<ul>\n <li>Prior demonstrated consulting experience with water/wastewater and industrial facilities a must.</li>\n <li>\n  <div style=\"border-width:0px;margin:0px;padding:0px\">\n   Experience using AutoCAD MEP (2D and 3D), Revit, SKM Power Tools, short circuit calculations, overcurrent coordination, and/or arc flash analysis, and photometric study.\n  </div></li>\n <li>Solid working knowledge of the National Electrical Code requirements.</li>\n <li>Willingness and desire to mentor junior/staff electrical engineers.</li>\n <li>Excellent customer/client service skills along with clear and concise, verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.</li>\n <li>Ability to work with multi-disciplinary teams effectively to complete projects on time and on budget.</li>\n</ul>\n<div style=\"border-width:0px;font-style:normal;font-weight:400;margin:1em 0px;padding:0px\">\n <strong>Required Qualifications:</strong>\n</div>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, a related discipline or equivalent work experience</li>\n <li>10 years of relevant experience.</li>\n <li>\n  <div style=\"border-width:0px;margin:0px;padding:0px\">\n   Registered Professional Engineer (PE)\n  </div></li>\n</ul>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0in\">Continue your career journey as an Arcadian.</p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0in\">We can only achieve our goals when everyone is empowered to be their best.
