    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><p data-pasted=\"true\">Location: Newtown, CT</p><p><strong>Newtown Savings Bank</strong> is seeking an experienced mortgage and consumer lending professional to join our Loan Origination team as a <strong>Retail Loan Origination Systems Analyst</strong>. &nbsp;The Retail Loan Origination Systems Analyst is responsible for the administration, optimization, and support of the Loan Origination System (LOS) within the Consumer and Residential Lending Department. &nbsp; &nbsp; This role ensures seamless system performance, compliance with regulatory requirements, and user-friendly processes that enhance both employee efficiency and customer experience. &nbsp;The Analyst will collaborate daily with internal teams, external vendors, and consultants to resolve issues, implement improvements, and support new product initiatives that drive the bank&rsquo;s retail lending strategy. &nbsp;<strong>This is an onsite opportunity at our Corporate office in Newtown, CT. This position offers the opportunity to work on enterprise-level projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute directly to enhancing customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.</strong></p><p><strong>PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></p><ul><li>Administer and coordinate the LOS system, reviewing department processes to identify and implement system enhancements.</li><li>Partner with department personnel to streamline workflows, ensuring compliance while improving usability.&nbsp;</li><li>Design and maintain effective user interfaces that support loan product requirements. &nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>Generate and analyze reports to support business expansion and strategic decision-making.</li><li>Collaborate with business units to develop LOS capabilities that enable new product initiatives. &nbsp;</li><li>Manage system security, including password administration and system access controls for authorized personnel.</li><li>Troubleshoot and resolve system errors quickly to minimize disruption and protect customer relationships.</li><li>Identify opportunities to streamline retail lending operations and improve customer experience</li><li>Serve as the primary liaison with software vendors and consultants for service calls, upgrades, and issue resolution.</li></ul><p><strong>POSITION REQUIREMENTS</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Finance, Business, or Information Technology preferred&nbsp;</li><li>5-10 years of experience in financial services, with mortgage and consumer lending expertise.&nbsp;</li><li>Strong working knowledge of lender-related technologies, including credit request systems, flood certification tools, decision rules engines, and secondary market requirements.</li><li>Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills</li><li>Ability to manage sensitive data securely and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.</li></ul><p><strong>QUALIFICATIONS</strong></p><p>To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. &nbsp;The requirements listed above are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. &nbsp;Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.&nbsp;</p><p>Any physical demands or work conditions described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
