    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><p id=\"isPasted\">Horizons Youth Services at Milwaukee Job Corps Center provides innovative, quality educational and job training programs to enable young people to succeed in today&rsquo;s competitive job market and keep pace with the ever-changing dynamics of our worldwide economy.</p><p>We are seeking part-time and full-time <strong>Recreation Specialists to encourage our students to participate in recreation programs during the evenings and weekends&nbsp;</strong>at our residential trade school for young adults.<strong><em>&nbsp; Full or part-time available</em></strong></p><p><strong>Summary of duties:</strong></p><p>Responsible for the supervision of staff and students to ensure a safe and secure operation of activities in the recreation/avocation area and supervises code of conduct in the development, implementation and maintenance of the behavior management system.</p><p><strong>Other duties include:</strong></p><ul><li>Assisting with the planning, implementation, and instruction of a variety of recreation activities, to include events, and field trips.</li><li>Monitors activities for individuals and groups to include tournament competition and varsity and intramural competition for the athletic-minded students.</li><li>Provides oversight of plans for recreations activities for students not participating in athletic events.</li><li>Supervises the development of the instructional programs to teach students new skills and to improve existing skills.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Pay:&nbsp;</strong>Well above state and federal minimum wage requirements plus health and welfare benefits!</p><p><strong>Qualifications/Experience:</strong></p><p><strong>Experience</strong><strong>:</strong>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; One year of experience required. &nbsp;</p><p><strong>Education:</strong>&nbsp; &nbsp; Associates Degree preferred, preferably in a related field. &nbsp;Lifeguard certificate preferred.</p><p><strong>Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:</strong>&nbsp; Valid State Drivers&rsquo; License. &nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><br></p></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div>\n",
