    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p>KFOX14/CBS4/ARC El Paso is seeking an detail oriented, aggressive, energetic, and creative part-time Weekend Assignment Editor/Associate Producer!&nbsp;</p>\n<p><strong><u>Skills and Experience:</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Assign and track news crews</li>\n <li>Identify and develop daily content</li>\n <li>Write and post content to station website and social media sites</li>\n <li>Compelling and accurate script writing</li>\n <li>Listen to scanners and react to breaking news, make beat checks, monitor web sites and social media, react to developing news</li>\n <li>Develop and maintain contacts and sources to enterprise story ideas</li>\n <li>Listen for and respond to breaking news</li>\n <li>Assisting in the efficient operations of the assignment desk</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong><u>Requirements and Qualifications:</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>This is an entry level position</li>\n <li>Commitment to journalistic standards of ethics and accuracy</li>\n <li>Ability to communicate effectively</li>\n <li>Basic computer knowledge/word processing skills</li>\n <li>General knowledge and interest in local, national and world news</li>\n <li>Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines</li>\n <li>Proficiency with Facebook, Twitter and emerging social media platforms</li>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree with a major in journalism is also preferred</li>\n</ul>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p><strong>EEO AND INCLUSIVITY:</strong></p>\n<p>Sinclair is proud to be an equal opportunity employer and a drug free workplace.
