Lincoln Medical Center is a designated Level I Trauma and Stroke Center and has Centers of Excellence in all medical specialties, including its award-winning Cancer and Breast Centers. The hospital provides comprehensive health services to women by a team of highly specialized and caring medical professionals. The team performs an average of 1,500 live births per year. The Women’s Health Center provides a modern, family friendly environment for OB/GYN care. Today, Lincoln stands as a leader in the transformation of women's healthcare in the Downtown Bronx community. The hospital maintains a strong academic affiliation with Weill Medical College of Cornell University to maintain its high healthcare delivery standards. The mission of NYC Health + Hospitals is to extend equally to all New Yorkers, regardless of the ability to pay, comprehensive health services of the highest quality in an atmosphere of humane care, dignity, and respect. Opportunity Details: Be part of core faculty in OBGYN residency program, teach and supervise residents and medical students. Perform a full scope of OBGYN practice including obstetrics, gynecology and ambulatory services. Subspecialty support from MF, Medicine, MIGS, Urogynecology, Gynecologic Oncology. Opportunity to participate in research, performance improvement, quality initiatives and community outreach activities. Career development opportunities. Perform a full scope of women's health exams, including Pap smears, pelvic exams, and breast exams. Diagnose conditions and develop evidence-based treatment plans. Qualifications Board Eligibility and/or Certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology Wages and Benefits include: Annual Base Salary: $296,000* (board eligible); $301,000* (board certified) based on 40-hour work week. Additional compensation available for extra call or sessional/per diem hours. The annual total value of compensation package is estimated at $435,800** (board eligible) and $441,300** (board certified), which includes the baseline salary, 401(k) contribution, sessional/per diem hours, and other factors as set forth below: Estimated annual compensation for 10 additional sessional/per diem hours worked per week is $70,200***. Projected bonus of up to $40,000 (based on previous year’s average), contingent upon meeting quality and productivity targets. 401(k) Company Contribution (subject to IRS contribution limits): Employees are immediately vested in a 3% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required. After one year of service, employees receive an additional 7% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required. Annual Continuing Medical Education (CME) Reimbursement. Generous Annual Paid Time Off (PTO): Vacation, Sick, Holiday, and CME days. Medical, Prescription, and Dental Coverage: Top-tier plans with employee contributions significantly below market rates. Life Insurance and Accidental Death and Dismemberment (AD&D) Coverage: Equal to 2x your salary (up to a maximum of $300,000) provided at no cost to you. Additional employee-paid Voluntary Life and AD&D coverage is available for you and your family. Loan Forgiveness: Position may be eligible for loan forgiveness through certain state or federal programs. Medical Malpractice Coverage (equivalent to occurrence-based): Provided at no cost to the employee. Healthcare and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs). Pre-tax employee-paid contributions for commuting expenses. Visa sponsorship will be considered for this position.
