    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><strong>WHAT WE OFFER:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Salary - Paid Bi-Weekly, Direct Deposit&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Competitive pay rates</li>\n <li>Paid vacation &amp; sick time&nbsp;</li>\n <li>10 paid holidays/year</li>\n <li>Medical, Dental, &amp; Vision benefits - 1st of the month after hire date</li>\n <li>Voluntary &amp; Supplemental insurances to choose from</li>\n <li>Short &amp; Long Term Disability, Life &amp; AD&amp;D Insurance - all company paid for</li>\n <li>401K Plan with a company match of 5% - 2nd month after hire date</li>\n <li>Annual Safety Boot Allowance - up to $150/year</li>\n <li>Discounts with nationwide companies (GM, Nissan, Ford, Samsung, hotels, etc.)</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Principal Accountabilities / Responsibilities&nbsp;</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Leads and directs Toolmakers in daily activities and projects.</li>\n <li>Ensures all equipment and machinery in the department is operating in a safe manner and complies with manufacture specifications.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Key person working with customers and Die Shops on new tooling launches and changes ensuring timeline and budget requirements are met.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Attend die review and run-off sessions as required at the die shop and in-house at both Samuel facilities in Brantford, Ontario (SMB), and Columbia TN (SMP). &nbsp;This will ensure the tooling meets our standards and/ or equipment specifications. &nbsp;</li>\n <li>Assist with Die design of new tooling or die improvements as required by customers and die shops.</li>\n <li>Provide SMP Management Teams with updates on status of Tool builds and delivery.</li>\n <li>Assist in the launch of new Tooling at SMP facility ensuring any issues encountered are reported to the die shop and customer with resolution to issues identified implemented.</li>\n <li>Work with SMB and SMP Toolrooms to ensure all project objectives regarding tooling are being met.</li>\n <li>Provide support to the Samuel Automotive Sales team in pursuing new business and the ability to process customer requests on current SMB and SMP equipment.</li>\n <li>Assist the Samuel Automotive Sales team in getting cost information from die shops for new tooling or tooling improvements as required.</li>\n <li>Manage Die PM Program working with Toolmakers at the SMP Columbia facility.</li>\n <li>Support continuous improvement activities as requested.</li>\n <li>Ensures adherence to all government and companywide safety procedures and 5S guidelines.</li>\n <li>Performs all other related duties as assigned.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>General</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Complies with the designated IATF16949 responsibilities, environmental management system, health &amp; safety and company rules and guidelines.</li>\n <li>Ensures company safety policies are adhered to and safe work habits are utilized by all department personnel and visitors. &nbsp;Wears personal protective equipment (PPE) as always required</li>\n <li>Maintains a high standard of general housekeeping consistent with 5S standards</li>\n <li>Strives for continuous improvement</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><strong>Position Qualifications</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Post-Secondary Technical Diploma/Degree required in Tool and Die Design or Manufacturing Engineering</li>\n <li>6-8 years of job-related experience as a Toolmaker in an automotive tooling environment preferred&nbsp;<br>\n  &nbsp;</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>EOE </strong>-<strong> </strong>Samuel, Son &amp; Co.
