    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<div class=\"WordSection1\"><p class=\"MsoNormal\">&nbsp;</p><p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin-left:10.8pt;\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">&nbsp;</span>Job Overview<br>As a Cost Accountant, you'll manage accounting transactions, compile financial information, handle billing, and create accurate financial reports for the Wallingford, CT location.</p><p><br>Key Responsibilities<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Reconcile General Ledger accounts and support month-end closing<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Create daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly financial reports<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Manage fixed assets, track depreciation, and analyze profit/loss statements<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Record and reconcile balance sheet accounts and accruals<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Prepare product costing calculations<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Handle intercompany transactions and resolve discrepancies<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Prepare and monitor capital expenditure requests (AFEs)<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Support audits, budgeting, and special financial projects<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Collaborate with leadership on financial planning and business strategy</p><p><br>Qualifications<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related business field<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;5-8 years of manufacturing cost accounting experience<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Proficient in Microsoft Office (advanced Excel skills preferred)<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley and SEC requirements<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Experience working with operational teams<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Adaptable to change with proven flexibility<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;JD Edwards and Hyperion knowledge is a plus</p><p>#LI-KP1<br>&nbsp;</p><p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin-left:10.8pt;text-indent:-18.0pt;\">&nbsp;</p><p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin-left:10.8pt;\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">&nbsp;</span></p><p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin-left:10.8pt;\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">&nbsp;</span></p><p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin-left:10.8pt;\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">&nbsp;</span></p><p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin-left:10.8pt;\"><span style=\"font-family:&quot;Calibri&quot;,sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size:11.0pt;\" lang=\"EN-GB\">&nbsp;</span></span></p></div>",
