          "text": "<p><strong>THIS POSITION IS PROJECT-BASED AND IS EXPECTED TO RUN APPROXIMATELY 12 – 18 MONTHS WITH THE OPPORTUNITY FOR LONG-TERM EMPLOYMENT BASED ON BUSINESS NEEDS AND PERFORMANCE. </strong></p><p><strong>THE POSITION</strong></p><p>Hoosier Racing Tire in Plymouth, IN is seeking an Electrical Technician – 1st shift to join our team. This role is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role supports production operations through equipment maintenance, diagnostics, preventative maintenance, and safe repair practices while ensuring quality and efficiency standards are met.</p><p><strong>HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT</strong></p><ul><li>Diagnose and complete high-quality repairs on AC/DC electrical control systems, including PLCs, hardwired circuits, field devices, motors, drives, and servo systems.</li><li>Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and steam systems using schematics, diagnostic software, precision measurement tools, and specialized testing equipment.</li><li>Replace defective components, restore equipment to operation, and verify proper system functionality and performance.</li></ul><ul><li>Perform maintenance on hydraulic, lubrication, piping, and fluid power systems, including draining, refilling, bleeding, and repairing associated components.</li><li>Operate machine tools, hand tools, and welding equipment to fabricate, modify, and repair mechanical, structural, and sheet metal components.</li><li>Accurately document maintenance activities, labor time, faults, and corrective actions within SAP/PUMA systems using an iPad.</li><li>Follow all safety procedures, including LOTO and PPE requirements, while maintaining compliance with plant, corporate, and regulatory standards.</li><li>Collaborate effectively with Maintenance, Engineering, and Production teams while supporting operational needs through overtime, coverage, and additional assigned responsibilities.</li></ul>",
