    "description": "<p>Position Title: Data Engineer- Senior</p>\n<p>Position Location: Redstone Arsenal </p>\n<p>Position Type: Full-Time, On-Site</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt\">Position Overview</span></p>\n<p>We are seeking a highly skilled <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Senior Data Engineer</span> to support advanced intelligence and analytics initiatives in Huntsville, AL. The selected engineer will work with a combination of <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">open-source technologies</span>, <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS)</span>, and <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Government Off-The-Shelf (GOTS)</span> tools to develop and deliver an advanced visual analytic application. This application will transform streams of <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">structured and semi-structured data</span> into manageable, actionable intelligence for mission-critical operations.</p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt\">Key Responsibilities</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Design, develop, and deliver advanced visual analytic applications for desktop and web-based platforms</li>\n<li>Develop and implement data analytics solutions that enable bulk analysis of relational and semi-structured data</li>\n<li>Utilize advanced graphics, data visualization techniques, and high-performance computing to support intelligence workflows</li>\n<li>Design strategies for enterprise database systems, including standards for operations, programming, and security</li>\n<li>Design, construct, and maintain large-scale relational databases</li>\n<li>Integrate new systems with existing data warehouse architectures</li>\n<li>Optimize system performance, scalability, and functionality</li>\n<li>Collaborate with cross-functional engineering and mission teams to ensure successful delivery of analytics solutions</li>\n<li>Apply open-source, COTS, and GOTS technologies to meet program and government requirements</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt\">Required Qualifications</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Active Top Secret (TS) security clearance</span></li>\n<li>Bachelor’s degree (BS or BA) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field</li>\n<li>Senior-level experience in data engineering, database design, and analytics development</li>\n<li>Strong experience working with structured and semi-structured data sources</li>\n<li>Experience designing and supporting enterprise-scale database and data warehouse systems</li>\n<li>Proficiency with data visualization tools and analytic software for desktop and web environments</li>\n<li>8+ years of related experience</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt\">Preferred Qualifications</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience supporting Department of Defense or Intelligence Community programs</li>\n<li>Familiarity with high-performance computing environments</li>\n<li>Experience integrating data analytics solutions into existing enterprise architectures</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span>CULTURE REQUIREMENTS:</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Engineers, Analysts, and Developers at Cintel, Inc. are highly motivated, technical, and self‐organized.
