    "description": "<p>UTRS Advanced Manufacturing (UTRS AM) is currently seeking a CNC Lathe Machinist to join our team! We are looking for someone that will support our mission to consistently deliver creative, high-quality, technology-based services to our customers on time and within budget.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>This person is responsible for CNC turning operations.  This position is located in Robbinsville, NJ in our clean, air-conditioned, well-equipped, modern shop.  At this location, we specialize in short-run manufacturing of custom machinery and machine components.   </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What will you be doing?</span> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>This position will be a key member of the UTRS Advanced Manufacturing (UTRS AM) team. Duties include: </p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Technician to work CNC Turning operations</li>\n<li>Program, setup, and run parts on 2axis machine independently. Including OD turning, boring, threading, profiling</li>\n<li>Mazatrol - Fanuc programming experience</li>\n<li>Be able to complete in-process inspections in open setup (mics, calipers, thread measurements) and optical comparator (angles and overlays)</li>\n<li>Be able to inspect parts coming off CNC machines for visual defects and workmanship</li>\n<li>Experience interpreting blueprints, beginner knowledge of GD&amp;T</li>\n<li>Deburr and clean components before &amp; after machining operations</li>\n<li>Maintain traceability on material alloys and raw materials being machined for each job</li>\n<li>Knowledge of cutting tools, insert grades</li>\n<li>Maintain CNC machine, including basic maintenance, and workspace professionalism</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What skills will the ideal candidate have to be successful?</span> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>This position will require the following skillsets and experience: </p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>3 years of experience required</li>\n<li>Must have good mechanical skills and experience </li>\n<li>High standard of quality and efficiency </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Effective communication and interpersonal skills </li>\n<li>Any milling/other MFG experience would be beneficial</li>\n<li>Solid knowledge of shop mathematics </li>\n<li>Must be a team player, able to multitask and prioritize accordingly </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Must be able to work in a physical capacity, lifting and moving heavy object </li>\n<li>Must be a US Citizen </li>\n<li>High School diploma required, College degree not required but beneficial </li>\n<li>Past or present military personal are encouraged to apply </li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>UTRS is an Equal Opportunity employer.
