Midnight shift: &nbsp;5:00pm to 1:30am M-F</p>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p><b><u>KEY FUNCTIONS OF JOB</u></b></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Supervises the operations associated with the LPE growth of garnet films.</li>\n <li>Effectively solves equipment, process, and staffing problems as they occur.</li>\n <li>Works with engineering to develop and maintain standard operating procedures.</li>\n <li>Communicates problems, results, and important issues to the relevant process, product and/or facilities/maintenance engineers.</li>\n <li>Assist in problem identification, resolution, and root cause identification through analysis of data.</li>\n <li>Actively participates in documenting LPE growth procedures and work instructions.</li>\n <li>Provides day-to-day supervision and work assignments for LPE operators/technicians.</li>\n <li>Availability to come in on weekends as needed</li>\n <li>Set a high standard of ethics, professionalism, leadership, and competency.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p><b><u>JOB REQUIREMENTS</u></b></p>\n<p><i><b><u>Education:</u></b></i></p>\n<ul>\n <li>High school diploma required and Bachelor’s degree in Science/Engineering/Technical field preferred</li>\n</ul>\n<p><i><b><u>Experience:</u></b></i></p>\n<ul>\n <li>2 – 5 years of relevant Manufacturing and Production experience.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>2+ years’ experience supervising direct labor / hourly staff</li>\n <li>Experience with problem analysis and resolution.</li>\n <li>Experience with networked PC based computer systems. (Excel Spreadsheets, Access, and Email is a must)</li>\n <li>Experience using SAP.</li>\n <li>Demonstrate ability to achieve results independently or working with others.</li>\n <li>Ability to develop and set goals.</li>\n <li>Ability to recommend and implement improvements post collaboration with Engineering, Management and Quality.</li>\n <li>Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.</li>\n <li>Ability to handle multiple priorities and issues in a fast paced, dynamic environment.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Capable of developing and training new employees in the LPE production process</p>\n<p><b><u>Safety Requirements</u></b></p>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p>All employees are required to follow the site EHS procedures and Coherent Corp.
