This role ensures safe, reliable, and compliant electrical systems across the facility while supporting new equipment integration, upgrades, and troubleshooting. </p>\n<p>  </p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Oversee design, installation, and maintenance of facility electrical power systems (480V/240V distribution, switchgear, MCCs, UPS, generators); </li>\n <li>Own electrical standards, safety compliance (NEC, NFPA 70E, UL, CE), and documentation; </li>\n <li>Partner with Facilities, Manufacturing, and Automation teams on equipment installations and upgrades;</li>\n <li>Lead root-cause analysis for electrical failures, downtime events, and equipment reliability issues; </li>\n <li>Ensure electrical schematics, wiring diagrams are maintained and updated; </li>\n <li>Manage external contractors, integrators, and vendors as required; </li>\n <li>Drive continuous improvement in power reliability, energy efficiency, and electrical safety;</li>\n <li>Provide capital project support including scope development, design review, and commissioning; and</li>\n <li>Serve as Electrical Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ).</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Education and Licensure</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related technical field. (required)</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Skills, Experience and Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>At least 5 years in Electrical Design; or equivalent combination of education and experience. (required)</li>\n <li>Prior experience on large EPC project and/or nuclear project. </li>\n <li>Working knowledge of control plans and voltage distribution systems. </li>\n <li>Working knowledge of CAD tools and/or ETAP.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of electrical standards and codes. </li>\n <li>Due to federal contract security requirements, this position requires U.S. Citizenship. (required)</li>\n <li>Due to federal contract security requirements, candidates must be able to successfully pass a federal background investigation to secure and maintain DOE Q security clearance. (preferred)</li>\n <li>Health & Safety training, medical monitoring, and client-driven drug and background testing. (required)</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Please note that marijuana remains a Schedule III controlled substance under Federal Law.
