Our broad service offering includes construction materials testing, geotechnical services, environmental engineering, industrial hygiene, and specialty testing.</p><p><strong>What are we looking for?</strong></p><p>The <strong>Geotechnical Project Engineer</strong> is responsible for performing a variety of testing, project specific observations and site assessment duties under general supervision and/or from detailed controlled procedures.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Salary &amp; Benefits Information:</strong></p><p>In addition to competitive compensation packages, when working with Intertek you can expect benefits including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, 401(k) with company match, generous vacation / sick time (PTO), tuition reimbursement and more.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>What you’ll do:</strong></p><ul><li>Direct and execute one or all of the following geotechnical project assignments but not limited to field exploration, laboratory services, engineering analysis, report preparation and report technical review.</li><li><p>Perform routine geotechnical engineering design tasks such as foundation and retaining structure designs, pavement design and others.</p><p>&nbsp;</p></li><li>Provide quality control review of proposals and geotechnical reports and direct operations in a manner to consistently meet commitments to the clients.</li><li>Actively participate in business development and marketing efforts while establishing and maintaining client relationships related to technical aspects of our client assignments.</li><li><p>Responsible for the mentoring and training of junior professional staff professionals.</p><p>&nbsp;</p></li></ul><p><strong>Minimum Requirements &amp; Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>3+ years of progressive Geotechnical Engineering experience with active project management experience&nbsp;<strong>required</strong></li><li><p>Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p></li><li>Excellent communication, project management, and organizational skills are essential</li><li>Excellent understanding and knowledge of Geotechnical Engineering and related disciplines with the ability and desire to provide creative and practical solutions to meet the client's needs</li><li>Expected travel up to 25% of the time (locally)</li><li>Valid Driver's License and reliable driving record (required)</li></ul><p><strong>Preferred Requirements &amp; Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Masters in Civil engineering preferred</li><li>Engineer in Training (EIT) certification preferred</li><li>PE license preferred</li></ul><p><strong>Intertek: Total Quality.
