BR+A provides state-of-the-art integrated and coordinated mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protection consulting engineering, technology systems design, lighting design, and building commissioning services.</p><p>BR+A is looking for an experienced Electrical Designer in our Charlotte, NC office.&nbsp;The candidate will be&nbsp;strongly motivated, well organized, and show professional initiative. The ability to take ownership of assignments and perform well both independently and as part of the project team is necessary.&nbsp;The ideal candidate will possess a strong working knowledge of Revit, and their responsibilities will include:</p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Providing Engineering, Design work and drafting of plans</li><li>Implementing approved system concepts from a schematic diagram to floor plans</li><li>Sketching rough layouts to review with Project Engineer/Project Manager</li><li>Reviewing product cut sheets and technical information</li><li>Communicating with Project Manager/Project Engineer regarding potential problems</li><li>Submitting the required documentation per project deadlines and milestones</li><li>Attending in-house coordination meetings when appropriate</li><li>Developing a strategy to meet the projects&rsquo; schedule</li><li>Assisting in the development of engineering systems concepts (M/E)</li><li>Assisting the design team on major design issues</li><li>Organizing required technical correspondence, emails, and calculations</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong><u>Position Requirements:</u></strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Electrical Engineering</li><li>Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit</li><li>EIT (Engineer in Training)</li><li>Minimum of 5 years of experience</li><li>Good understanding of engineering concepts, design, and spatial requirements</li><li>Excellent Organizational and Communication skills</li><li>Proactive and Collaborative team member</li><li>PE certification is preferred</li><li>Experience in designing Healthcare, Commercial, Higher Education or Laboratory projects is preferred</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p>BR+A is a place to learn, to grow, and to work hard for our clients &ndash; all while being a part of something bigger.
