    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>The primary role of a Lead Lifeguard is to ensure the safety of all Inn & Lodge guests, Suncadia & Tumble Creek Club members, their families and guests that are utilizing the pool or water slide facilities.  As a team member at Suncadia, you'll participate in building teamwork, effectiveness of services, and the overall character of the resort experience. Join us and enjoy the benefits of being on our team.</p>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Benefits:</strong> Full-time employees are eligible for medical, dental, vision, 401k (with a company match!) benefits, and more</li>\n <li><strong>Perks:</strong> Enjoy free golf, discounts on resort retail and food & beverage, and more!</li>\n <li><strong>A Balanced Life:</strong> Full-time team members are eligible for 2-weeks of PTO and holiday pay in their first year</li>\n <li><strong>Travel is good for the soul:</strong> Experience destinations around the country with team member hotel discounts</li>\n <li><strong>Growth:</strong> Opportunities for internal career growth and expansion</li>\n <li><strong>Celebrate:</strong> Monthly team member gatherings, quarterly events, and the legendary Team Member Golf Tournament</li>\n <li><strong>Be Part of the Magic:</strong> Trust us, seeing a first-time guest take in our Cascade views never gets old</li>\n</ul>\n<p><em>*Some benefits may vary based on job status</em></p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Maintain order and enforce pool rules in water slides, swimming and sauna areas.</li>\n <li>Plan and facilitate both lifeguard instruction courses and in-services</li>\n <li>Be alert and focused at all times when on duty at the pools or water slides.</li>\n <li>Rescue swimmers in danger of drowning and administer first aid.</li>\n <li>Clean the pool and sauna regularly of loose debris and vacuum on daily basis.</li>\n <li>Perform daily opening, closing or mid-shift checklists to ensure all aspects of the pool operations are being administered. </li>\n <li>Assist with general pool, facility and locker room cleanliness.</li>\n <li>May inspect equipment daily and report any maintenance and repair needed.</li>\n <li>Administer public health and safety policies according to facility standard operating procedures and emergency action plans</li>\n <li>Ensure member and associate safety in all areas of the club through awareness and on-going safety training.</li>\n <li>Personally greet each club member as they enter facilities with a smile and their first or last name, depending on their preference.</li>\n <li>Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communications and coordination with other departments. </li>\n <li>Attends weekly, monthly or quarterly team meetings.</li>\n <li>Perform other duties as assigned. </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to work a varied schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays</li>\n <li>Current American Red Cross or Ellis Lifeguard Certification</li>\n <li>Current Certification in CPR & First Aid</li>\n <li>Previous Lifeguarding experince required</li>\n <li>Strong organizational skills and oral and written communication skills</li>\n <li>Energetic self-starter with strong work ethic</li>\n <li>Proven ability to meet and work with the public</li>\n <li>Ability to engage in social conversation with members and guests to promote positive relations</li>\n <li>Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks with a smile</li>\n</ul>\n<p>#SuncadiaResort</p>",
