About the role: As an Inside Sales Associate for the Parts Department, you’ll be responsible for handling quotes and orders for customers, inventory, and account set up. You’ll be a liaison between manufacturers, customers and our Sales team. You will play a vital role in supporting the sales team and ensuring smooth Warehouse operations. Responsibilities Sales Support: · Assist the sales team with customer inquiries, product information, and order processing. · Collaborate with customers to understand their needs and provide appropriate product recommendations. · Prepare and follow up on sales quotations, ensuring accurate and timely responses. · Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the product line to effectively address customer inquiries and upsell opportunities. · Provide outstanding customer service to build and maintain strong customer relationships. Warehouse Operations: · Receive and process incoming stock, ensuring accuracy and timely stocking of products. · Perform inventory management tasks, including stock replenishment, cycle counts, and order fulfillment. · Prepare shipments and ensure accurate documentation for outbound orders. · Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment for efficient operations. · Lift and carry items up to 50 pounds. · Stand and/or walk for extended periods. Sales Reporting and Analysis: · Assist in maintaining sales records, customer databases, and reports. · Monitor sales metrics and generate periodic sales reports for management review. · Identify sales trends and opportunities to drive business growth Requirements: · High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or relevant certifications are a plus. · Proven experience in a sales-oriented role, preferably in a similar industry. · Strong customer service and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships. · Proficient in using sales software, CRM systems, and MS Office Suite. · Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. · Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. · Forklift operation certification (or willingness to obtain certification) is a plus. · Must be able to lift and carry items up to 50 pounds. · Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
