    "requisitionDescription": "<div><p id=\"isPasted\">As a Pharmacy Service Tech, you are Responsible for all requests placed on the Pharmacy Line, including recording pertinent information in the patient&#39;s chart and completion of all necessary paperwork. &nbsp;Assists in the delivery of primary healthcare and patient care management as required. Able to double as a Medical Assistant and perform MA duties.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong><em>Essential Functions of the Role:</em></strong></p><ul><li>Responsible for all messages on Pharmacy Line, including pulling patient charts and clarifying medicine dosage, last refill date. &nbsp;Also verifies if the patient is active within the last two years, and if the patient is not active, is responsible for mailing an appointment reminder.</li><li>Calling all refills back to pharmacies and posting information in the patient&rsquo;s chart.</li><li>Filling out and following up on prescription authorization forms.</li><li>Involves direct communication with physicians when the medication dose or availability through the insurance formulary is in question.</li><li>Handling all refill requests generated through the Rx2000 Software.</li><li>Arranging samples for patients</li><li>Coordinating and problem-solving with any issue related to prescriptions.</li></ul><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Attends required meetings and participates in committees as requested.</li><li>Maintains patient confidentiality.</li><li>Uses oral and written communication skills to effectively convey ideas in a clear, positive manner that is consistent with the Advanced Cardiovascular Specialists (ACS) Mission.</li><li>Maintains established ACS policies, procedures, objectives, quality assurance, safety, environmental, and infection control.</li><li>Cross-training as needed</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong><em>Minimum Qualifications:</em></strong></p><ul><li>Medical Assistant or Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT)</li><li>Previous Medical Office experience (preferred)</li><li>Computer experience</li><li>CPT Certification</li><li>ICD9, CPT, HCPCS Coding</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Work Environment</strong></p><p>Clinical working hours</p><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>Physical Requirements</strong></p><p>This position requires a full range of body motion.
