    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif\">Madera Community Hospital</span></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif\">Located in the heart of Central California, Madera Community Hospital is a General Acute Care, private, not-for-profit hospital dedicated to improving and maintaining the health and wellness of residents throughout the Central Valley.  We are committed to identifying and serving our community's needs with compassion, concern, care and safety for every patient.  Madera Community Hospital is a growing acute care facility seeking talented individuals with a drive to provide quality care and dedicated to making a difference in our community.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px; font-weight: bold\">Position Summary:</span></p>\n<p>The phlebotomist is responsible for collecting and processing specimens for all patient ages including, but not limited to blood, urine, feces, sputum, pathological specimens, cultures from wounds, and semen.  Will perform phlebotomy and EKG’s on patients aged newborn through geriatric, in all units of the Hospital including but not limited to: Intensive Care, Emergency, and Medical/Surgical.  Is responsible to enter patient demographics and laboratory information into the laboratory computer system.  May participate in gathering of Quality Assurance Data.  May perform some laboratory testing under the direct supervision of a licensed Clinical Lab Scientist.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Full-Time Position</p>\n<p>Varied Shift-PM and Night Shift, with rotating weekends.</p>\n<p>Position role and responsibilities are performed consistent with the California Phlebotomy Regulations.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Qualifications:</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif\">Requires Current</span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif\"> State</span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif\"> of California Phlebotomist License, and </span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif\">Current American Heart Association BCLS certificate.</span></span></p>\n<p><span>Ability to perform venipuncture, skin puncture and EKGs. </span><span>Ability to handle medical specimens and conform to Universal Infection Control Procedures.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><br></p>",
