    "description": "<h2>Job Summary</h2>\n<h2>Medical-Surgical (Med-Surg) Registered Nurse</h2>\n<p><strong>Compensation</strong>: $47.80/hr-$50.00/hr plus $5.09 for Health and Wellness</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Position Summary</strong>The Medical-Surgical RN provides direct care to patients with a wide range of acute and chronic conditions, including post-operative recovery and telemetry monitoring.</p>\n<h2>Primary Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Conduct patient assessments and monitor clinical status</li>\n <li>Administer medications, IV fluids, and blood products</li>\n <li>Provide telemetry monitoring and cardiac care</li>\n <li>Coordinate admissions, discharges, and transfers</li>\n <li>Perform wound care, central line care, and catheter management</li>\n <li>Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams</li>\n <li>Delegate tasks to support staff</li>\n <li>Maintain accurate and timely EHR documentation</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Patient Population</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Oncology, telemetry, surgical recovery, infections, cardiac conditions, and behavioral health needs</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Minimum Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Minimum Qualifications</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ACEN or CCNE)</li>\n <li>Active RN license (Ohio or compact state)</li>\n <li>Current BLS certification (ACLS required for ICU/ED)</li>\n <li>Minimum 2 years of recent clinical experience</li>\n <li>Strong English communication and documentation skills</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Additional Requirements</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays</li>\n <li>Completion of VA-required training (safety, HIPAA, EHR, etc.)</li>\n <li>Compliance with credentialing and privileging standards</li>\n <li>Ability to float between units as needed</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>About Aptive</h2>\n<p>Arrow ARC supports Veterans Health Administration facilities and offices across the U.S. with health care staffing and program support via the 10-year Integrated Critical Staffing Program (ICSP).
