We strongly support improving the quality of life for our employees and the community.</p><p>&nbsp;<u>&nbsp;We are currently looking to fill the challenging and rewarding position of <strong>Lab Pack Chemist</strong></u></p><p>This is an entry level position that involves working both indoors and outdoors at our customer&rsquo;s sites. &nbsp;This is NOT a laboratory position. &nbsp;The field chemist is responsible for preparing containers for pick up, including identification of chemicals, lab packing hazardous and non-hazardous chemicals at customer locations. &nbsp;Limited travel including overnight stays (~10%).&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;<strong>DETAILS OF ASSIGNMENT:</strong></p><ul><li>Moving and preparing containers (pails, drums, viles) for transport</li><li>Identification of chemicals</li><li>Packing hazardous and non-hazardous chemicals at customer locations</li><li>Other duties as requested by Field Services Manager and corresponding team members.&nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong><u>Requirements</u></strong></p><p>At times, the field technician may be required to wear a full or half face respirator, SCBA, or air lines. &nbsp;</p><p>Ability to routinely lift 60 pounds, with occasional lifting in excess of 60 pounds.</p><p>Insurable driving record.</p><p>Willingness to obtain a class B CDL with hazmat endorsement within the first year preferred.</p><p>High school graduate required. &nbsp;</p><p><strong>2-year degree in chemistry or other natural sciences highly preferred.</strong></p><p>The field technician is OSHA HAZWOPER 24-Hour trained. &nbsp; Typically, the work is conducted in Level D but sometimes conditions warrant Level B or C personal protective equipment. &nbsp;Some travel may be necessary for this position.</p><p>The field technician is capable of taking direction, working well with others, and decision-making. &nbsp; Additional skills required for this position are provided below.</p><ul><li>Safety oriented</li><li>Observant</li><li>Resourceful</li><li>Versatile</li></ul><p>A post offer drug screen and background check will be required.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Learn more about the great things we do at: &nbsp;</strong><a href=\"http://www.eeienv.com/\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>www.eeienv.com</strong></a></p><p><em>Environmental Enterprises Inc. &nbsp; is an Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, religion, gender, age, veteran status, political affiliation, sexual orientation, marital status or disability (in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act) with respect to employment opportunities.</em></p></div></div></div></div></div></div>\n<br/>Full Time; Monday to Friday 8 AM to 4:30 PM<br/>40 hours weekly",
