The individual in this position will work in the Sawmill and Planer; they are asked to perform the following tasks; general facility clean up including picking up slabs, sticks, sawdust, chips off lower mill floors, and assist with dust mitigation.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Shift is depending on needs of operation - Day or Swing</p>\n<h2>Benefits Highlights</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Substantial company-paid assistance for Medical and Dental insurance premiums; mental health coverage; cost effective co-pays and deductibles</li>\n <li>401(k) with 5% annual company contribution and generous company matching contributions vested over three years</li>\n <li>Paid time off, including eight paid holidays</li>\n <li>Opportunity to earn bonuses</li>\n <li>Employee wellness program that includes free counseling sessions, financial and legal guidance, and more</li>\n <li>Opportunities for paid training to support career advancement and personal development</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Pick up slabs, sticks, sawdust, and chips off lower mill floors</li>\n <li>Assist with dust mitigation</li>\n <li>Maintain a safe environment and comply with all safety policies and procedures. </li>\n <li>Must complete and pass the Rolling Stock training classes and re-certify annually. </li>\n <li>Must complete Chainsaw safety class before using a chainsaw. </li>\n <li>Maintain training in safety and how to lock out machinery before getting under, around or in machinery will be required</li>\n <li>Follow lockout procedures and company policy.</li>\n <li>Apply good housekeeping standards to your work area or any area you observe</li>\n <li>Assist in other areas/jobs in the mill when needed/assigned.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Completion of high-school or equivalent preferred but not required</li>\n <li>Sawmill experience preferred but not required</li>\n <li>Must be able to safely work at a moderate to fast pace</li>\n <li> Lifting is 20-30 pounds on a continuous basis</li>\n <li>Sawmill experience preferred but not required</li>\n <li>Must be willing to learn new skills</li>\n <li>Be a team player and self-starter</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>More About Us</h2>\n<p>Timber and wood products industries are a pillar of Tillamook County’s economy.
