To help keep up with this growth we are looking for an outstanding Cost Accounting intern to join our team.</p>\n<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p><strong>Program Dates:</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Summer O</strong><strong>nly : </strong>May through August</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Melaleuca values Cost Accounting interns and uses the process to find excellent new employees. Interns are assigned projects with responsibility for providing varying levels of financial information and analysis to operational groups, business leaders, or factory managers to assist and/or drive the business decision making process. Your internship will culminate with a final presentation to senior managers/leaders to describe your project, demonstrate depth of analysis, and make recommendations for implementation.  You can expect an action packed experience that will test your skills, give you professional development and give you many opportunities to drive solutions. This position is only available in the summer.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Providing general information and counsel in the areas of cost, return on investment decisions and the development of overall business plans and strategies. </li>\n <li>Ensuring compliance with financial reporting requirements and corporate policies to ensure the integrity of external and internal reporting </li>\n <li>Developing solutions to problems utilizing formal and on the job training, experience and judgment. </li>\n <li>Assist in process optimization efforts to achieve more effective and efficient business processes</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics or Accounting</li>\n <li>Availability in May through August</li>\n <li>Preference given to students currently in their junior or senior year of college</li>\n <li>Solid understanding of financial statements and their interrelationships</li>\n <li>Demonstrated skills utilizing the Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint and Word</li>\n <li>Able to work in Idaho Falls, Idaho for your program dates of approximately 90 days</li>\n <li>Cumulative GPA of 3.75 or higher </li>\n <li>Strong creativity skills</li>\n <li>Strong customer relation skills</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Just as important as your experience and skills will be the following characteristics and competencies:</strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Self-motivation and sense of ownership and accountability</li>\n <li>Ability to analyze problems and create solutions</li>\n <li>Ability to work independently and professionally</li>\n <li>Good written and verbal communication skills</li>\n <li>Detailed work and organizational skills</li>\n <li>Ability to work under stress</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Why Melaleuca</h2>\n<p>Melaleuca is one of the leading Health and Wellness companies in the world.
