This role blends <strong>hands-on engineering design</strong> with complex <strong>2D H&amp;H analysis</strong>, making it ideal for an engineer who enjoys both technical modeling and practical infrastructure problem solving.&nbsp;</span></p><p><span style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Projects may include developing solutions to challenging flooding issues using a variety of analysis tools including 2-Dimensional modeling. &nbsp;Solution development generally includes detention basins, drainage channel improvement, storm sewer improvements, and surface conveyance improvements (neighborhood streets). &nbsp;A successful candidate will collaborate closely with engineers, modelers, and CADD staff to deliver high-quality drainage studies that will transition into construction documents, utilizing <strong>InfoWorks ICM&nbsp;</strong>in particular.&nbsp;</span></p><p><span style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\"><strong>Essential Duties and Responsibilities</strong></span></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Perform <strong>hydrologic and hydraulic analyses</strong> for riverine systems, urban drainage, floodplain mapping, and stormwater management projects.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Develop and implement <strong>1D/2D hydraulic models</strong> using<strong>&nbsp;InfoWorks ICM</strong>.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Support and lead <strong>engineering planning studies&nbsp;</strong>focused on flood mitigation and the<strong>&nbsp;development of solutions to flooding problems. &nbsp;</strong></li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Support <strong>engineering design and plan production</strong> through the development of Drainage Impact Analysis studies.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Perform <strong>GIS-based spatial analysis</strong> using ArcGIS or QGIS to support watershed modeling and floodplain studies.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Coordinate with project teams to develop design solutions for stormwater conveyance systems, culverts, detention facilities, levees, and other water-related infrastructure.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Participate in design meetings and interdisciplinary coordination to understand project goals and constraints.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Conduct field investigations, site visits, and data collection as needed to support modeling and design.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Assist with technical reports, model documentation, regulatory submittals, and agency coordination (FEMA, USACE, state and local agencies).</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Review work for completeness and accuracy prior to submission to Project Managers.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Support proposal development, scope definition, and cost estimating as needed.</li></ul><p><span style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\"><strong>Education and Experience</strong></span></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Bachelor&rsquo;s or Master&rsquo;s degree in Civil Engineering, Hydrology, or a related field.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Minimum of 7 years of experience in <strong>water resources engineering</strong>, with exposure to both <strong>design and H&amp;H modeling</strong>.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Experience with <strong>InfoWorks ICM</strong> software <strong>required</strong>.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Programming experience (Python, MATLAB) for data analysis or automation is beneficial but not required.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.</li></ul><p><span style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\"><strong>Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations</strong></span></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif;
