    "requisitionDescription": "<div><p data-pasted=\"true\"><strong>Weber Gallagher</strong> has an immediate opening for an Associate for our Medical Malpractice group. The candidate will work a hybrid schedule from Bedminster, NJ. The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical and research abilities, and prior exposure to litigation work. &nbsp;</p><p><strong><u>Responsibilities:</u></strong></p><ul><li>Support the defense of complex medical malpractice cases from inception through trial and appeal.</li><li>Conduct case evaluations, develop litigation strategy, and advise clients on risk assessment and potential exposure.</li><li>Draft and argue dispositive motions, prepare trial briefs, oversee discovery, including expert witness preparation.</li><li>Represent clients in mediations, arbitrations, depositions, hearings and trials.&nbsp;</li><li>Build and maintain strong client relationships.</li><li>Stay current on changes in healthcare law.</li><li>Ability to travel for court, client meetings, etc.</li><li>Ability to work a hybrid schedule from the Bedminster, NJ office.&nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong><u>Requirements:</u></strong></p><ul><li>2-5 years of defense litigation experience, preferably in Medical Malpractice and/or General Liability.</li><li>J.D. from an accredited law school.</li><li>Active and good standing NJ bar license; required.&nbsp;</li><li>Exceptional legal research, writing, and analytical skills.</li><li>Excellent communication skills.</li><li>Expertise in defense litigation.</li><li>Experience reviewing complex medical records, expert testimony, and scientific evidence.&nbsp;</li><li>Demonstrated ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines simultaneously.</li><li>Prior experience representing hospitals, physicians, insurance companies or healthcare systems, preferred.&nbsp;</li></ul><p>Salary is dependent on a variety of factors including education, experience and internal equity.
