Overview Position Overview The Senior Compensation Analyst will report to the Director, Compensation providing compensation support company wide. This position will be responsible for both base pay administration as well as the administration of the company’s retirement plans. The ideal candidate would be a strong self-starter and team player that is willing to adapt to change in a fast-paced environment. We are a growing company, and while this role will be responsible for several recurring Compensation tasks, this role will also regularly take on ad hoc tasks needed by upper management and/or other team members to advance the company’s interests. Responsibilities and Qualifications Key Responsibilities Compensation Benchmarking & Market Analysis Benchmark jobs against survey data and market intelligence to determine competitive pay levels across the organization Analyze compensation data to identify trends, disparities, and opportunities for improvement Gather and assess data from market-based compensation surveys using spreadsheets and analytical tools Conduct job evaluations by analyzing duties to determine appropriate classification, leveling, and FLSA status Compensation Reporting & Insights Prepare and present summary reports on compensation analysis to leadership on a regular basis Perform ad-hoc reporting and analysis to support business needs and decision-making Conduct data and cost analyses to support employee negotiations and collective bargaining agreements Benefits & Retirement Plan Support Assist in the administration and management of the company’s 401(k) plan Compliance & Advisory Advise management on state and federal employment regulations, compensation policies, benefits, HR procedures, and collective agreements Program Support & Tools Evaluate and implement job analysis tools, instruments, and materials to support compensation programs Perform other related duties as assigned Additional Responsibilities & Miscellaneous Perform other duties as assigned to support HR and corporate objectives Qualifications Experience market pricing jobs and performing market analysis on a large scale Experience creating and aligning job families within an organization Excellent Excel skills with experience performing analysis using large data sets Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) strongly preferred Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Extensive knowledge of compensation principles, practices, and regulations Attention to detail and accuracy Excellent written and verbal communication skills Excellent organizational and time management skills Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Dayforce Compensation and Benefits Reports To Director, Compensation Compensation The listed pay range reflects the expected base rate for this position. Within the range, individual pay may vary based on experience, qualifications, and work location within state. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.
