Description

Opportunity Information Sutter SeniorCare PACE seeks to hire a BE/BC Geriatric Medicine / Internal Medicine / Family Medicine physician to join our clinical team in Sacramento, CA. Sutter SeniorCare PACE is a nonprofit health plan designed exclusively for adults 55 and older in Sacramento County. Our team of doctors, nurses, therapists, social workers, drivers and aides work together to provide all-inclusive care and help retain independence. PACE (Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly) provides high-quality comprehensive home and community-based healthcare services to participants, always anticipating problems to help avoid hospitalization and prevent premature nursing home placement. The PACE Physician is responsible for providing medical oversight and clinical leadership for the care of elderly patients within our program in Sacramento. This position combines clinical expertise and compassion to ensure high-quality patient care, regulatory compliance, community involvement, and effective departmental operations. Qualifications Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree with active board certification in Geriatric Medicine or Internal Medicine or Family Medicine State medical license and eligibility for medical practice in California Proven experience as a practicing physician specializing in care for elderly patients Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Strong commitment to patient-centered care and quality improvement Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements and healthcare standards Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary healthcare team Join Us and Enjoy Salaried position starting at $285,000 plus a sign-on bonus Health/dental/vision insurance at no charge for you and qualified family members 26 days of paid time off benefits (vacation, holiday, etc.) Paid time off benefits (vacation, holiday, etc.) Leaves of absence, including family care, bereavement, etc. Generous compensation and benefits, including employer-matched 403(b) 24 hours of education time off and $3,000 education expense reimbursement annually Malpractice Insurance A positive work-life balance and Northern California's natural beauty and lifestyle Relocation assistance available Organization Details Sutter SeniorCare PACE , which stands for “Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly,” provides high-quality comprehensive home and community-based healthcare services to participants, always anticipating problems to help avoid hospitalization and prevent premature nursing home placement.
