    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><strong>MAJOR FUNCTION:</strong></p>\n<p>This position is responsible for transporting patients under the direction of the registered nurse throughout the hospital. Provides supplies and equipment required for patient care. Participate in the monitoring of equipment safety, maintenance, and cleanliness.</p>\n<p><strong>QUALIFICATIONS:</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Education &amp; Experience:&nbsp; </strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li><strong><u>High School education or equivalent required.</u></strong></li>\n <li>Completed EMT course preferred, or previous successful experience verified by reference check.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p><strong>Work Requirements:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>6 months – 1-year experience preferred</li>\n <li><strong><u>Must be enrolled in College Level classes</u></strong></li>\n <li>This position is a per-diem, non-benefit eligible position which requires employees to work a minimum of 32 hours in a 6-month period between January 1 and June 28 and July 1 and December 31.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>There is 1 weekend shift required during each period.</li>\n <li>Education and Training does not count towards my periodic work commitment</li>\n</ul>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p><strong>Certification/Licensure:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><strong><u>American Heart Association BLS required.</u></strong></li>\n</ul>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p><strong>Knowledge &amp;  margin-top: 0in\">Transports medications to and from clinical areas following proper procedure.</p></li>\n <li>\n  <p style=\"margin-bottom: 26.35pt;  margin-right: 0in;  margin-top: 0in\">Assist with application of Clinical and specialty mattresses.</p></li>\n <li>\n  <p style=\"margin-bottom: 26.35pt;
