This role is one that covers a variety of responsibilities supporting the overall success of the Castle on a day-to-day basis. You may find yourself assisting at check-in for guest reservations and escorting them to tasting areas or tour starting points. Other times you may be stationed at the cashier check-out area helping guests fulfill purchases in the gift shop or complete online orders. We are looking for someone that is customer service focused and willing to be a creative problem solver to ensure our guests have the best possible experience.</p><p><br></p><p>Previous cashier and money handling experience is preferred but not required. Must be extremely reliable, work well under pressure, and display a positive work ethic. Applicants must be comfortable multi-tasking.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Duties may include:</strong></p><ul><li>Project a professional company image through in-person and phone interactions</li><li>Greeting visitors warmly and professionally</li><li>Tour and wine tasting ticket sales</li><li>Answering phones and taking tour reservations via phone and in person</li><li>Opening, counting, closing, and balancing a register drawer</li><li>Accepting payment and making correct change for purchases</li><li>Ringing orders for shipping out of state and internationally</li><li>Maintaining timely transaction sessions</li><li>Accurate data entry of customer information for shipping orders and tour &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;reservations.</li><li>Stocking wine and gift items</li><li>Being flexible with scheduling</li><li>Arriving to work on time and ready to start right away</li><li>Recommending various food and entertainment venues to customers around the Napa Valley</li><li>Working possible long hours/ evening events on occasion</li><li>Weekend work availability REQUIRED.
