    "description": "<p>We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse for our Te Rito e Tupu Ana (Well Child) Team. As part of this team, you will support the health and wellbeing of pēpi and tamariki from birth to 5-years</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Working in whānau homes and in our Whānau Health Centres, Te Rito e Tupu Ana provide services including health assessments, development and growth monitoring and education for whānau and caregivers, food and nutrition advice, oral health education and vaccinations. As part of a kaupapa Māori health service, Te Rito e Tupu Ana Nurses are responsible for providing culturally appropriate and whānau-centered care with the ability to coordinate with health and social services to reduce health inequities for whānau</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>To be successful in this role you will need:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Registered Nurse with a current APC.</li>\n<li>Proven experience in child health, community nursing or Well Child services.</li>\n<li>Strong clinical reasoning and decision-making skills, with a focus on evidence-based practice.</li>\n<li>Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and independently as required.</li>\n<li>Strong relationship-building and communication skills with diverse communities</li>\n<li>Have an understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and how it can be shown in practice</li>\n<li>Proficiency in the use of digital health technologies and clinical information systems. </li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>In return, we offer a supportive and professional working environment and regular professional development opportunities that align with our mātāpono, Manaakitanga, Whanaungatanga and Kotahitanga.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>If you want to be a part of the vital years of our pēpi and tamariki and improve health outcomes for our whānau please apply!</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>To request a position description, please email <a href=\"mailto:[email protected]\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">[email protected]</a></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Mauri ora</p>",
