Answers phones to ensure that road officers are assigned to jobs, and logs into computer dispatch to know officers’ whereabouts at all times in case of an emergency call. Sends officers out on calls as needed.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:</strong></p><p>To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the essential job duties satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the duties herein described. Since every duty associated with this position may not be described herein, employees may be required to perform duties not specifically spelled out but may be considered incidental in the performance of this job.</p><ul><li>Enters animals into the computer system.</li><li>Assigns animals to particular kennels.</li><li>Interacts with and serves the public bringing in animals.</li><li>Answers phones, takes complaints, and dispatches calls.</li><li>Vets animals to prepare them for adoption.</li><li>Determines the adoptability of animals on the holding side.</li><li>Ensures the shelter is clean.</li><li>Works on animal complaints.</li><li>Assists in euthanizing animals.</li><li>Follows up on previous complaints.</li><li>Sets and picks up animal traps.</li><li>Manages supplies and inventory.</li><li>Performs other related duties as assigned.</li></ul>",
